Event #9: Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship ($10,000 entry)
Play resumed with just 5 remaining, & short stack Phil Hellmuth was first to depart as expected, unable to spin up his short stack & win Bracelet # 16.
After a marathon 6 hour Heads Up it was Canadian Ari Engel who eventually won his 2nd bracelet - both of them, interestingly, in Limit games. Amazingly, he has over 200 WSOP cashes to his name, dating back to 2006.

3 Andrew Yeh United States $143,988
4 Eddie Blumenthal United States $107,204

Event #11: Heads Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship ($25,000 entry)
Hot favourite Jason Koon prevailed here & I doubt anyone will begrudge him his win, he's one of the most popular players out there & perhaps the best who had never previously won a Bracelet.
It was his 3rd FT of this Series too, which is quite something.

Event #12: Limit Hold'em ($1,500 entry)
Very rare to see an Isreali win a Bracelet, & this was the 2nd that Yuval had won. A pretty spectacular win too, as at one point when heads Up he had a 1;20 chip deficit. Runner-up Kevin Erickson must have felt terrible.
1 Yuval Bronshtein Israel $124,374
2 Kevin Erickson United States $76,868
3 Tom McCormick United States $53,588
4 John Bunch United States $38,011
5 Ian Glycenfer United States $27,488
6 Zachary Gruneberg United States $20,262
7 Guy Cicconi United States $15,230
8 Tony Nasr United States $11,677
9 Anh Van Nguyen Canada $9,137

Here's Mr Deeb. Don't think we can describe him as affable, but I actually find him quite entertaining.
No Brits cashed, but I did notice Tom McEvoy did. Tom is 76 years old, has authored numerous poker books, & has 4 Bracelets including the WSOP Main which he won 38 years ago. Bet he could tell a story or two. Sadly, he sold his Main Event Bracelet a few years ago as he was a bit busto.
A few other Events are in progress, but just the early stages so we'll pick those up tomorrow.

She's, well, "not shy" & I can't help but think that the finger she chose & it's position was sending a message, though I've no idea to whom.
@MARK277
Wow, that's incred.
Ooh, good find Sherlock Bates.
I fancy this story has a long way to run.
Can't say I've ever heard anything bad about Ms Minken.
