Morning.

A sparkling set of numbers last night, with all 10 featured Events doing well, many of them coning in at highest numbers for a month or more. Overall the best night in some months I'd say.

In sport, Emma Raducanu playing her first match since sensationally winning the US Open was beaten in straight sets by the 100 ranked Aliaksandra Sasnovich at Indian Wells. I'm reminded of Justin Rose, who as an amateur, & after having to qualify, finished 4th in the 1998 Open. Turning pro immediately, he proceeded to miss the cut in the first 21 tournaments he played. Since then he has gone on to win a Major, an Olympic Gold Medal, & $55,000,000. Yes, that's right, 55 million dollars. And maybe Emma will go on to better that.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,050

£6,000 BWBH £7,300

£8,000 Avenger Main £10,400

£4,000 Avenger Mini £4,950

£1,000 Mega £1,260

£1,500 Sheriff £1,800

£1,500 Reload £1,734

£1,500 Turbo £1,740

£1,000 Quicky £1,580

£1,000 MidEx £1,340

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,050)

    After a recent intermittent absence, Froozle ran 6th in Thursday's Main & followed up by taking 7 @ 7 last night.

    2nd was Voltage, which we can perhaps put down to (wait for it....) V=IR-iance.

    £6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£7,300)

    An intense BWBH final eventually fell to SPT regular & recent Summit winner wineli. Some FT he had to beat too, all good players. OK, I know it included SoLack, but it would be cruel if I were to suggest he was the mark.

    £8,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£10,400)

    For a while it looked like skyflyer had this all locked up, but it was roddy28 who grabbed the win. It's less than 3 weeks since he won the full Sky Poker FTJ (£5,000) & he's won pretty much everything else on Sky Poker. There's certainly a case for saying his is currently the best MTT-er playing regularly on the site.

    On a table full of serious hotpots, a tremendous performance to finish 2nd by Timo615.

    skyflyer, Makaka, Wacko90 &, crucially, GFKIJKLL completed the FT.

    £4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£4,950)

    GFKIJKLL took the Mini, and as he ran 6th in the Main he adds his name to the rapidly growing list of FTJ winners, picking up a sweet £250 bonus. (If you are reading this GJKIJKLL, it will be paid on Monday).

    Runner-up was splashies who has had a really solid week, & was making a featured final for the 3rd straight night, which includes 2 Mini finals.

    @GFKIJKLL 2380000 1 £618.75 + £152.14 Head Prizes 13

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,260)

    What a terrific alias for a poker player - stealer. Playing his first MTT for 3 weeks, he took the Mega, with the in-form whitters95 in 4th.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,800)

    Earlier I suggested roddy28 might be the best MTT player on the site based on current form. Well Sheriff winner destinycod might have something to say about that, but he chooses to play most of his poker elsewhere (& does extremely well), and spends a lot of time playing "Live" so we don't get to see enough of him to see just how good he is. Or might be.

    Tough old FT too, not a bad player there.

    @destinycod 180000 1 £333 + £344.51 Head Prizes 9

    Thursday's Mega winner nishg started poorly last night but ended strongly, winning Reload, 5th in Turbo & 6th in Quickdraw.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,740)

    utang is having a decent week, and took the Turbo.

    Not content with 6th in the Main, 1st in the Mini & £250 of FTJ in his pocket, GFKIJKLL helped himself to 6th place money.

    @utang 290000 1 £321.90 + £170.74 Head Prizes 5

    @ScottMo1 0 2 £191.40 + £145.91 Head Prizes 7

    Tuesday's Summit winner Jessieak took Quickdraw.

    4th was GREGSTER, with Crushy in 5th, with nishg completing his back-to-back hat trick of FT's in 6th.

    A slice of FTJ was not enough to send it to GFKIJKLL, it has to be our Main Event winner. He's just so good.

    In other news...

    Plenty of news from the WSOP, but we'll save that for today's WSOP thread later.

    Meanwhile, nearer home, after an 18 month COVID-induced hiatus, things soon got back to normal at DTD.

    Had he not met with such an untimely death 41 years ago, John Lennon would have celebrated his 81st birthday today.

    I've missed him so much, he - & of course the other Beatles - really did help make my life more enjoyable.

    This is one of my favourite Lennon tracks - Woman.

    Fabulous mental strength from Rose all them years ago

    I just find him quite hard to like though
    A bit too comfortable with himself. A bit too considered when interviewed

    Casey is very similar

    @Jac35

    I would agree as to Rose. On the face of it a lovely bloke., but there's just something there I can't warm to. Might just be the shocking shirts he always wears.

    Oddly, & I know Paul Casey is widely disliked for being arrogant, but I'm a big fan. In fact, not sure why, but he reminds me of Tyrrell Hatton.
