Who won what, Thursday 14th October, _Smoothe_ sailing in the Main

Afternoon.

A pleasantly busy evening, with Sherriff in particular doing well, coming in at £2,300, a 3 month high.

In tennis, the GB media are eulogising over the "Brit" Cam Norrie, who has reached the semi finals at Indian Wells. Personally, it seems a bit thin to call him a Brit, though he is technically. Born in South Africa to a Welsh mother & Scottish father he moved to New Zealand when he was 3 & represented NZ in junior events, before deciding to switch allegiance & become a Brit in 2013.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£952)

    7 @ 7 winner Mini_Luck seems quite new here, with just 50 odd MTT's to their name. After taking down 7 @ 7 they then won a little Rebuy too, so that's almost certainly their best night to date here at Sky Poker.

    @Mini_Luck 272000 1 £130.90 + £71.34 Head Prizes 8

    @findy 0 2 £79.02 + £19.09 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

    To save me writing it all again, here's what I wrote about ally44 & the £1,000 BH on February 3rd;

    "ally44 turns up most nights & plays exactly one MTT - this one."

    Well nothing has changed & he did it again last night.

    Some really decent players in this, with Natnug 2nd & UnEuropean 5th.

    I really was hoping to see NOSTRI win it, he was chippie when I looked in late on, but things must have gone a little awry in the late stages. A big win is surely on the cards for him soon.

    Oh, nearly forgot - Swog - who also led the way at one point - finished 4th. Good to see one of the little guys get their moment of glory. He failed to take a single head prize though.

    @ally44 141000 1 £196.10 + £76.13 Head Prizes 3

    @Natnug 0 2 £116.60 + £48.38 Head Prizes 3

    @NOSTRI 0 3 £79.50 + £41.24 Head Prizes 4

    @Swog 0 4 £58.30 0

    @UnEuropean 0 5 £42.40 + £34.22 Head Prizes 3

    @Keatsy 0 6 £37.10 + £45.01 Head Prizes 5

    £5,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£6,090)

    _Smoothe_ won Hitman Main for the 2nd time this year & 3rd time in total. He's won the Mini version too.

    I half expected roddy28 to win this but he came up just shy. In fact he was in good position to take some more FTJ money until he bust the Mini in 10th place.

    @_Smoothe_ 1015000 1 £829.76 + £295.91 Head Prizes 8

    £1,500 Mini Hitman (£1,755)

    bigfatfish has hit the woodwork a few times recently so it was great to see him take the Mini.

    And how about Swog? - 4th in the £1k BH & 4th here too, looks like he is a little podium shy.

    The player in 6th did well to get that alias past the registration process, it's a well-known Caribbean term used as a profanity.

    @bigfatfish 702000 1 £221.57 + £55.32 Head Prizes 6

    MagicMacca (4th) & b_oakdave (6th) were both making the Mega final for the 2nd straight night.

    And look who was 5th - the much-respected tomgoodun.

    In other news...

    Day 1A of the GUKPT Luton Main event had a sprinkling of representatives from Sky Poker.

    Well-known maniac Terry Jordan had a remarkable comeback to bag up 155,000 chips after losing with Aces v Aces earlier.

    Once Day 1B is complete (today) the prize pool is expected to top £500,000.

    A bit odd to see the player in 4th described as "R X", not too hard to guess who that is.

    I re-watched "More Than This", the rockumentary of Roxy Music last night. Ferry is amazing, & just as relevant today as he was 50 years ago. If I could be a tenth as cool as him I'd die a happy man.

    Here's Virginia Plan "live" on TOTP.
