Who won what, Tuesday 19th October - a remarkable double Summit for Mvh219

Morning.

There are definitely signs that winter is well on the way, numbers were "reasonable" last night, & in particular, Summit at £7,100 hit a 3 month high.

Football fans were treated to an absolute belter last night as Atletico Madrid & Liverpool locked horns in the CL. It got me thinking, Diego Simeone is coming up to 10 years in charge at Atletico, it's about time he came over here & managed a team in the Prem. Which team? Man U would fit the bill nicely when they are next in the market. Just imagine that. He's passionate, combative, & seriously bright. Does a great Michael Jackson impression too. Oh yes.

We saw another astonishing performance by Mo Salah too, he's in the form of his life & has scored in his last 8 or 9 games I believe. And it just happens to coincide with his agent's negotiations with Liverpool for a new contract. I can't begin to imagine how much he is worth now or what his future earning power will be.

    7 @ 7 final table season ticket holder abby67 registered his 7th FT & 2nd win in it this year alone.

    Mr Alphabet was runner-up, a new one on me but appears to be one of numerous similar alphabetic aliases.

    royster09 single-tabled his way to a win in the £1k BH from a tough FT that included the excellent whitters95 in 3rd, one spot ahead of one of Sky Poker's best retromingents. Go on, look it up.

    In 5th was kidgirlgy, who appears to be enjoying a new lease of life after winning Sheriff 10 days ago. Husband Dave needs to pull his socks up.

    £5,000 Gold Rush (£5,640)

    The win by clov4r in Gold Rush Main rather pleased my OCD side, as exactly a week earlier he had won the Mini Gold Rush. Pretty unusual double that, to win the same Main/Mini combo in consecutive weeks.

    Runner-up _Smoothe_ has won both versions of Hitman, and won the Main version last Thursday for the 3rd time this year.

    On Sunday NIHIGHGUN ran 4th in the Major, & was 4th again in this last night.

    Monday's 7 @ 7 winner PKRPar was the FT bubble boy, with an exceptional effort by JACKDAW in 10th. I happen to live in an area heavily populated by Jackdaws, & they are the most fascinating creatures, very intelligent too, like all corvids. Outrageous thieves though, they'll steal anything.

    @clov4r 1880000 1 £768.45 + £334.03 Head Prizes 9

    £1,500 Mini Gold Rush (£1,805)

    neenio has won most of the Featured MTT's & last night took a Mini for the 2nd time in just over three weeks.

    In 4th was PRhack93, who had a very deep run in last week's GUKPT Luton.

    In 6th was hhammerhea, who sticks to games where he has an edge & as a result does very well in stuff like Minis & Reloads. Got a terrific ROI, & seems to be very popular amongst the players.

    @neenio 3610000 1 £227.88 + £54.19 Head Prizes 10

    Bleurgh, better known for doing so well, so often in Turbo, took Mega for at least the 2nd time since July.

    Monty15 was 2nd, & splashies made yet another FT, that's at least 3 already this week.

    £5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£7,100)

    In many ways, the most astonishing result of the night. Mvh219 has been here since 2017 & never made a bean until 8 weeks ago when they suddenly popped up with a Summit win. Has barely here played since, just satellites, & here they are winning it again. Pleasing to note that they have won their Summit entry in satellites on both occasions, so even better value. Certainly led the FT a merry dance, & the table chat seemed full of admiration for their inventive play.

    This was what I wrote after his previous Summit win;

    A sensational win for Mvh219, who has been here 4 years & 1,411 games without troubling the judges & in one foul swoop pretty much wiped out his lifetime Sky Poker deficit last night. Quite surprised to even see them play a £110 Summit but the clue was in the satellites - started off by winning the £5.20 Quarter Final, then the £24 Semi Final, & ended up turning the £5.20 investment into £1,575. Awesome result.

    So on both occasions he started with the cheapo satellite, won his way through & then took the big one. Love it, absolutely love it. If you enjoy seeing spectacular Sharky graphs, go take a look, it's awesome.

    2nd was SwannLol, & for those who know how to drive Twitch, I believe he made his streaming debut last night including, this one.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,560)

    I don't know a thing about the winner, so I'll just use it as a chance to upload a photo of another Annette, Ms Obrestad, who knew a thing or two about accumulating stacks. She was extraordinary. Sadly, she's moved on from poker now. If I could get a stack like that just once in my life I'd die a happy man.

    In other news...

    Is Phil Hellmuth on his way to bracelet # 17? It's possible, though Adam Friedman is looking to win this for the 3rd straight year.

    Am chuffed to bits that @IrishRose has won her SPT seat, she always looks after me at the venues & plies me with lattes, so this is for her. xx
