Who won what, Wednesday 27th October - justinas takes the Main

Morning.

After the drama of Tuesday night, when a 7 minute outage somehow ended up with 1 or 2 players becoming unbelievably exercised (one hopes they never suffer a major drama at home, the dog getting loose or whatever), all was forgiven yesterday & calm restored. Can't begin to imagine the noise if it had been a 2 or 3 hour outage, & these things do & will happen. Traffic did not look great at first glance, but I did notice that Predator Main hit it's highest prize pool in three months.

Hopefully, some players are keeping their powder dry for the start of UKOPS tomorrow.

An interesting twist in the Quinton de **** "taking the knee" debacle. He now appears to have changed his mind. Well that's good, but I think we've worked out where he stands on racism.

In football, it was League Cup night, & Man City were turfed out by West Ham. The Hammers just keep on improving, & Moyes seems to have worked miracles there. Up at Stoke, the home team were humiliated by Brentford, but at least the Stoke fans were treated to a footballing masterclass by the Brentford All Stars, with soon-to-be England striker Ivan Toney netting the winner.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£889)

    bakersdoze took the 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in just over a month, & his Sharky graph is showing marked improvement.

    Runner-up Scawldyjaw is "invisible" on Sharkscope & has no previous Forum mentions, so might be a newbie. Interesting alias.

    Mr Bates, who took MidEx earlier in the day, was 3rd, and went on to finish 11th in the Main.

    Talking of Sharky graphs, bigfatfish has had a wonderful 18 months & his graph just gets ever steeper. He took last night's £1k Bh, made it a double with victory in the Mega, then decided to show off & win an SPT seat too. Manchester here we come, going to be quite a gathering.

    £5,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£6,120)

    Predator Main went to justinas. I can't be sure of this, but I'm pretty sure that is the lad who ran 2nd to Barry Grimes at SPT Manchester in February 2019, collecting some £10,100. His Christian name was Justinas, which is a pretty unusual name, so I think it's him.

    Natplayer & gez_bear were 2nd & 3rd.

    A nice deep run by ironpump in 4th.

    You may remember that a day earlier @PKRPar won the Main & was 11th in the Mini, so just missed out on some FTJ money. Well he almost did it again last night, 8th in the Main & 12th in the Mini. To run so deep in both Main & Mini on consecutive nights is a tough gig, so well done him.

    @Natplayer 0 2 £500.31 + £101.43 Head Prizes 7

    £1,500 Mini Predator (£1,515)

    d4y0 has played just 8 MTT's this month - all of them Minis, & he got the win last night. He won exactly the same Mini two years ago too. Think he just turns up every few days, plays the Mini, & that's that. Must be nice to keep it so simple.

    Runner-up waller02 has been here 13 years & made decent money, almost all of it in the last 12 months or so. No idea why the sudden improvement, maybe he's had some coaching.

    @d4y0 606000 1 £196.95 + £42.18 Head Prizes 4

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,000)

    The second leg of the bigfatfish double, with devil_tear, who we mentioned a few days ago with regard to Punta Cana, in 2nd.

    Jac35 seems to have transitioned across to MTT's & is doing rather nicely. Has twice made the final of the Mini in the last week (5th & 6th), was 4th in Elim Fr a few days ago & 5th in this last night. it's good to see him making a few bob, it stops him moaning all the time.

    Reload was won by one of the Usual Suspects, Keysasoze. Been here 13 years & only played 1,300 MTT's, though I think he plays a fair amount of cash.

    There's not much chatter about it on the Forum, but UKOPS starts tomorrow. Hopefully interest perks up, it's usually good fun & there's a leaderboard too.

    Sky Arts run a series called "Classic Albums" & last night they featured Cream. In their all too brief existence, they were really special, just three members all equally talented. Two of them - Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker - are no longer with us, whilst the third, Eric Clapton has become an anti-vaxxer &, some say, a bit racist. Sad, x 3.
