Morning.
Another decent UKOPS session, with Prize Pools coming in 23% higher than the Guarantees. Less impressive than Friday, for which we can blame the Rebuy Main which barely got across the line. Nothing to worry about though, the opening Saturday of UKOPS are always a little quiet.
In Pyjama Cricket, England gave the Aussies a right good pasting, took their pants down big time. Few things in sport are more satisfying than beating the Aussies.
Nearer home, some really weird results in the Premier League yesterday, best of which being Palace turning over Man City at The Ethiad. Not too many saw that coming.
More predictably, Jeff Stelling announced yesterday that he will leave Sky Sports at the end of the season, after being there for 27 years. Anyone care to guess where he will pop up next?

MRMIAGI has very little history here, just 80 odd games, & only 8 games in the last 2 months. He's got pedigree though, and was 3rd to HAYSIE of all people in an Easter UKOPS Main earlier this year, as well as making the FT of a recent Sunday night £6k BH.
Tough Final this, with Wacko 2nd & RUNITSRANN 3rd.
UnEuropean, who is impressing many shrewd judges, was 5th with the much-improved tonyp142 in 6th.
Just missing the final were the likes of Craig, Jessieak, Palace Bloke & roddy.

In yesterday's Results Thread I wrote.....
This was the day 1 "Main", & once again, hughjarse9 showed he is the man for big occasions. From just 335 games on Sky Poker, he's around £42,000 ahead if we believe Sharky. Has anyone here won more from so few games? Began the year by winning SPT Online for just shy of £20,000, & followed up by winning the Easter UKOPS Main for £10,500, & collected another ~£3,900 last night. Those 3 added together amount to more than most of us earn in a year from our day jobs. Seems a decent sort too. I fancy he has not finished with this UKOPS yet.
And would you believe hughjarse9 won last night's Main too, to make it back-to-back UKOPS Main Event wins? I'm fresh out of things to say about him. Extraordinary performance, & that's THREE UKOPS Main Events he has won this year, as well as an SPT Online. Unreserved congrats Mr Jarse.
Impressive stuff by the likeable reeler in 2nd place too. He won £1,100 of UKOPS entries in the Eliminator Freeroll promo, & used £110 worth to enter this, so that worked out nicely. I noticed a great deal of genuine warmth towards reeler in the chat box of the FT too, which I enjoyed seeing.
Mr Bromley was leading for a while in the late stages & I thought he might take it down. Earlier in the day Burnley actually won a football match, so perhaps the Gods of poker decided Adam had seen enough luck for one day.
bigfatfish & lolufold were 5th & 6th, with riverdam an excellent 6th. Quite a final.
