Who won what, Saturday 6th November, UKOPS Day 9 - KnoxTrot canters to a Main Event win

Morning.

It's Sunday & I'm a busy boy so only a brief run-through today.

As is often the case with the final Saturday of a UKOPS, traffic was thin, with 3 of the 6 events missing guarantee, & the other three not covering by much. Bankroll fatigue at the back end of a long UKOPS series I suppose.

Plenty of surprises in yesterday's sport, not all of them pleasant. Charlie Appleby & William Buick had a sensational Breeders Cup, winning 3 races. Appleby has now sent 11 horses to the Breeders Cup & banked no less than 6 wins.

Still at the Breeders Cup, punters who back Oisin Murphy "blind" had a nice surprise, as Oisin got home in a photo-finish on a Japanese-owned & trained winner at a whopping 50/1. When was the last time Oisin rode a 50/1 winner? Many of his supporters would not have realised he was riding in California though, & would have missed the win.

In football, Norwich surprised everyone by beating Brentford away & in doing so record their first win of the season. The Norwich Board then promptly celebrated by sacking Manager Daniel Farke. Up in Manchester, City thrashed United, who were woeful. It's going to be a long International Break for Ole.

In the T20WC, England lost against South Africa but it was essentially a dead-rubber so now they are in the Semi Finals. Sadly, Jason Roy suffered a leg injury & it looks like England will have to sail their ship for the rest of the journey without Jason.

Don't you just love the glorious uncertainty of sport?

    UKOPS 52 £2,000 PLO (£2,000)

    The PLO went to piglet69, who has very thin volume here & mainly seems to play £100 affairs. Made the Final of a UKOPS Main last year, & now adds a PLO title.

    LmfaoAllin had a terrific session, 2nd here, 4th in the Mini & 2nd in the £3,000. Well done James, just a shame you could not win another flip or two & record a few wins.

    3rd was AKA scotty, with Wacko 5th & ItsOver4u, with Oscar & Autumn safely tucked up in bed, 6th.

    @piglet69 384000 1 £570

    UKOPS 53 £10,000 Bounty Hunter (£10,890)

    KnoxTrot achieved a PB with this win after just under 2,000 games here. Even better, gained entry via a £7.20 satellite & ended up winning over £2,000, which is a pretty decent ROI by any standards.

    BlairReid had an odd day, playing a whopping 36 satellites without a single win, which might be some sort of record, but made up for it by picking up almost £1,000 here.

    @KnoxTrot 3630000 1 £1421.14 + £608.43 Head Prizes 15

    UKOPS 54 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£5,460)

    kevg14 is 11,000 games into their Sky Poker journey & whilst they've always been profitable, this was their best ever score.

    Mr Bates was 3rd. I've written so much about him that I'm sure you think you know everything about him. Wrong. Bet you never knew he kept chickens? The photo below is his little flock of chickens. (Can two be a flock?). Sadly, since the photo was taken one of them has passed away. Somewhat suspiciously, it passed away on a Sunday morning on the very day the Bates family were planning a full on Sunday roast. How good does he run?

    UKOPS 56 £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£4,000)

    UKOPS 56 winner IamAll_En has a great CV & this was his 2nd UKOPS win this year. He was running ferociously hot earlier this year when he won a UKOPS Rebuy for £1,900 & a Sunday Major for £5,000, both in the space of a few weeks.

    The all-conquering Tedson, looking for his 4th win of the series could only manage 2nd, with Dooobs in 3rd.

    UKOPS 57 £3,000 Hyper Rebuy B/Hunter (£3,520)

    It's a rare UKOPS when Sharki0 does not get his name on the honours board & he duly obliged last night. Plenty of decent form, including winning a trip to Vegas with us in 2018 for an SPT Vegas at The Venetian.

    whitters was 2nd, 3rd (again) was Dooobs, with memfno 4th.
