Morning all.
Before we get started, I was very pleased to see so much feedback on yesterday's thread. 8 or 9 players posted, several of them rare posters, & 5 sent me PM's. The View Count was well over 300 too, though I suppose that's to be expected on the last day of a UKOPS. All good then. I was not fishing for replies, but I genuinely don't know what readers like & dislike about the Results Threads. I've dropped POTD & the Music to test opinion, & nobody has commented, so maybe we can bin them. Happy to add other bells & whistles if there's any demand, though not if they take too much time, I already spend around 3 or hours a day on it.
The first day after a UKOPs is all a bit flat, but can't be helped. I've not discussed it with the Office but I'd think it's 95% certain that Xmas UKOPS will be along around 27th December, so we can do it all again.
MTT traffic last night? Thin. Main & Mini both crawled over the line, and there were a couple of small misses. About what expected I guess, what with UKOPS & Bankroll fatigue.
In sport, the YCC racism affair drags on, & more reports are surfacing. Some, of course, will just be folks jumping on the bandwagon, but it's clear there was a racist culture there & most of the stories will be true. The new YCC Chairman, Lord Patel, seems to have got to the heart of the issue with great speed, settled the legal issues already, & looks like exactly the right man. A glance at his Wiki suggests he's a wonderful chap. What a wonderful title he has too - Kamlesh Patel, Baron Patel of Bradford. How utterly splendid.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamlesh_Patel,_Baron_Patel_of_BradfordLet's hope we see a new dawn for YCC.

Cammykaze has had an amazing November. Last night he won 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in 6 days, been 2nd in a UKOPS Main, 2nd in a Mega, & won a bunch of bits & bobs not covered in the thread. The old Sharky graph is looking a lot better now.
Mr Bates, still in mourning for his sadly departed chicken (answers to the name of "Edna", or more correctly did before it met it's maker) was 5th. If I were a chicken belonging to Bates I'd run away if he called my name on a Sunday morning. Dreadful, heartless man.
Just missing the FT were @duesenberg (130th), @BlairReid (137th) & @bigfatfish (138th).

Oh my, well done Danyo0, who completed a hat-trick of Main Event wins in 2021 - Predator, Hitman & now Marksman, as well as two Mini wins. He was also 2nd in an Avenger Main, which, surprisingly, was won by @Shrimpy28 of all people. A terrific year all round for Danyo0.
JPDERRY was 4th, & the odd man out in an otherwise decent FT was @PKRPar

act8556128 is something of a Mini specialist, wining it for at least the 4th time since 2019 last night.
reeler had a brace of third places yesterday, a little BH in the afternoon, & the Mini.
Delighted to see my old mate DoyleBrun make the Final. He had a nice little win last month too, a 236 runner £2 BH that goes off at 8pm. A man who truly enjoys his poker, despite his advanced years.

Bleurgh took this, & he has plenty of form in the book. Sadly, he's "muted" on Sharky, so not much more I can say.
Runner-up was minter123, with the enigmatic Swog, who started November with a Reload win, 3rd.
@Duesenberg folded his way into 6th, though how he took 6 heads will forever be a mystery.

£1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,500)
I was quite surprised that skyflyer never figured more prominently in the UKOPS results, very good player, but it was BAU last night, taking down a very competitive Sheriff indeed. Undoubtedly the toughest FT of the night IMO.

In what might be some kind of record, cbefloyd won Reload last night for the 5th time last night.
aynaricol looked like she had it sewn up several times but it was not to be, & she had to settle for 2nd, even so, that was amongst her best ever results - so far. If & when she moves up the stakes she'll do well I fancy, though part of me wants her to stay where she is. Moving up the stakes is the downfall of so many players. Find a stake you can beat & stick to it, and earn a nice little side-income free from stress. It astonishes me how many players play "too high" & as a result lose all enjoyment of the game, which alludes back to the point we discussed yesterday about players getting OOL in the chat box.

More BAU, as StayOrgo takes the Turbo. He's won 4 seats to the SPT, so we'll be seeing him in Manchester on Friday.
We'll discuss runner-up clarke996 when we get to Quickdraw.
Swog, 3rd in Mega, did another 3rd here.

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,420)
clarke996 seems to be something of a rising star. Won a UKOPS HR last week for £5,600, 2nd in last night's Turbo, & won Quickdraw. One to keep a wary eye on.
In 2nd was snoxx11, who seems to have had a challenging year. Has been generally profitable for 10 years but this year has certainly been a bit uphill.

SPT Manchester Semi (20 runners)
This made 4 seats last night, with 3 of them going to first time winners. Pleased to see it included hurst05, who many of you will remember from back in the Sky Poker TV days. He used to have the hots for Anna Fowler. Incidentally - & strictly not related - Anna is due to become a Mum next month, bless her.
The other seat went to karlluke, so she's won the maximum of 4 now. Well done young Tina, see you Friday.

One in 10? ONE IN TEN?
Pfft.
RIP Astro BTW
Good shout @MAXALLY
There was a terrific UB40 documentary on TV a while back, I need to watch it again.
The band had quite a few "falling-outs" over the years, not surprising I suppose considering how long they had been around.
You are wearing pretty well all things considered.
I bet when Anna & I were on together, you never knew which of us to ogle.
