Afternoon.
A thoroughly wet and miserable day here in London, hope it's a little better where you are.
The UKOPS traffic hangover continues, as expected I suppose, & numbers were on the thin side last night. The £5,000 Summit was up to 39 entries & 10 re-entries with an hour of late reg remaining, so needed one more to cover, but it never happened so it came up a solitary entry short. I daresay Sky Poker will survive. On a brighter note, the Mini performed very well.
I received a few questions last night as to the £22 £1,000 BH at 19.30 which has been taken off the schedule for the time being. Regular readers will know it has performed very poorly for around 6 months now so it should not be a surprise. It's not dead & buried though, & may return at some point. There's just no point in running it & throwing in £200 or £300 of dead money every night though. If the demand is there, it will run, if there's not....
Not much happening in Sport yesterday, it's that time of year I'm afraid. A little sad to see Emma Raducanu beaten again. She has at last appointed a new Coach, so that's progress, but I'm starting to sense something is not quite right here. She seems a smashing kid though, so let us hope she sorts herself out soon.
Quick reminder that at 2pm today, England play New Zealand in the T20 Worlds Cup Semi Final. It would be just be terrific to see England in the Final, so fingers crossed.

Earlier this year, AKAscotty was in sparkling form, winning a Predator Main, plus 2nd & 3rd in Sunday Majors (to Ironpump & Essexphil respectively) since when he's been a little quiet. That all ended last night with a Gold Rush Main win. The fact it was only his 4th best result in money terms this year really does tell us how well he was doing before his little slump. Well done Scott.
Runner-up was MRBLEWPIE. A year earlier, he achieved the unique double of winning the PL08 in both UKOPS & Mini UKOPS.
In 5th was 69winsalot, who I believe we shall get to meet at this weekend's SPT Manchester.

fishhhhh is not proud, & moved down the stakes last night to take the Mini. He's won pretty much everything here, including Avenger Main (twice) & BWBH. Not a player you ever want seated to your immediate left. Or right. Or anywhere on your table I suppose.

Really pleased to see NOSTRI take this. He's been a bit of a nearly-man - 2nd in a Hitman Main, 2nd & 3rd in the Sunday £6,000 BH, 2nd in a Sheriff, although he did once win a Reload. Great too see him in the winner's enclosure. We may get the pleasure of meeting him up at the SPT, assuming he can get a pass from SWMBO, aka Mrs Nostri. I enjoy meeting people I only know Online "in the flesh" for the first time. I paint a little mental image in my mind of what they look like. I've got him down as quite posh, tall & thin, and with one of those dreadful limp & sweaty handshakes. We shall see.

£5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£5,000)
KLL-y spends an awful lot of time on the £10 Turbo DYM tables, & does just fine, but he's also pretty handy on the MTT streets & took down the prestigious Summit last night.
Runner-up ToddyPower made an ambitious step up in class to play Summit, gaining entry via a £24 satellite, & he made it all worthwhile, taking home £900+. He can be very pleased with that.
In 6th was clarke996, just 24 hours after taking down Monday's Quickdraw. He won the opening UKOPS High Roller too. Definitely one to keep an eye on. For a while last night he was the chippie, but these really good players tread a very thin line & it's so easy to be the chippie & then run into something.

£1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,548)
jinky77729 is something of a Reload specialist, & was winning it for at least the 4th time this year.
Reload is a really high-variance affair, so one has to feel a little for aynaricol, who was Reload runner-up for the 2nd straight night. In fact she's really got a bad dose of 2nd-itis - 2nd in Reload twice in 24 hours, 2nd in a £300 BH at 23.45 last night, 2nd in a £200 BH on Monday, and 2nd in a £150 BH on Sunday. A couple of wins too though, in both a £300 BH & a £100 freezeout. Fair to say, at these stakes she's prolific. Very much a nocturnal creature, most of her volume is late at night or early in the morning. We will get to meet her at the SPT, & I've done that mental image thing again. I've got her down as a sort of assertive, tall & dark-haired version of Sara Pascoe. I reckon I'm at least 2% likely to be right.

Arrogant, 4th in the 7 @ 7, took Turbo.
DUNMIDOSH has had a good few days, satted into the UKOPS Main for pennies & cashed for £220, & 3rd here for some £230. He's one of many decent horse race tipsters we have in our midst.

And here's that Arrogant man again, completing a double on the night, & three FT's. Like him or loathe him - & there are plenty who do one or the other - we can't deny he's good. Does he care what folks think. That I doubt. He's poker's answer to Millwall Football Club.
conga38 was attempting a 24 hour MidEx double, & came up a little shy in 5th.
In 6th was the quite splendidly-aliased Lebellend. Love it.

After a deluge of request, music returns today.
An odd one this, an old Eagles number - "Just too busy being fabulous".
Terrific lyrics, written, I believe, by the late Glenn Frey, & it's from the Long Road Out Of Eden album.

Really? Incred read by me.
Will there be the usual SPT thread with photos etc?
Here, on the Forum, as usual.
Can't promise too many photos unless I can get my camera working properly, but I'm sure others will post photos.
