Who won what, Friday 26th November - The week's biggest Mini is won by a fish

Morning.

A somewhat brief run-through today, things to do.

Awoke this morning to falling snow, proper old-fashioned fluffy snow like we had in the days before Brexit & COVID. Good for online poker too.

MTT traffic last night was positively buoyant, for the second straight Friday. All the featured MTT's did well, & it was great to see Sheriff north of £2,000 again, as it was on Thursday.

The saga of the ridiculously one-sided Women's World Cup Qualifiers continued last night, with 8-0, 6-0, 6-0 & 5-0 wins and teams criss-crossing Europe to play these meaningless games as if Climate Change had never become a reality. Meanwhile, we continue to be lectured by all & sundry to be more responsible. Well yes, we should & we must, but change starts at the top & it's about time the football authorities stopped thinking about money. And this is not a dig at Women's football, it's no different for Men's football.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,120)

    SILKY1978 took 7 @ 7 for the 2nd time in almost exactly 6 months. On the previous occasion, I wrote this on the Results Thread;

    "SILKY1978 has not had a Forum namecheck since 2011 (not a typo). He plays one MTT per night., almost always the 7 @ 7, so I don't think anyone will begrudge him this win."

    After which, one gentleman gently chastised me thusly;

    "Would it be wiser these days to refer to Silky1978 as “they” rather than “him”?

    Quite right too of course, so I've avoided that trap today. And who wrote that? None other than @Jac35 & as it happens they finished 6th in this last night, & they also ran 2nd in a £500 BH.

    In 3rd was FeNdeR36. Insert your own guitar-related puns please, I'm all out of them.

    £6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£7,600)

    The BWBH Final appeared to be a Team Big Boy benefit, but it was the old boy Solack that crossed the line in 1st place. It's quite something really, been here for ever, always made good money, but despite his advanced years his ROI appears to have improved significantly in the last 2 years. SoLack reminds me very much of what @HAYSIE would be like if he had a brain.

    £4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£5,135)

    Well here's a nice surprise, destinycod took the Mini. When not playing "Live", he usually casts his net in far deeper & more lucrative Online MTT's elsewhere, & seems to do well in them too, so it's good to see him on home turf taking down the week's most valuable Mini. Congrats Mr Cod.

    splashies marches on & records another win as he approaches his 300th MTT win on Sky Poker. Can we think of any players here with more than 300 MTT wins on Sky Poker?

    On Thursday, cmorry67 (2nd) was 5th in this & won Sheriff. One for the notebook.
