10. All general Sky Betting and Gaming rules and terms apply.
Hey Tikay, Just wanted to check...100 tickets a day therefore 1000 points for maximum tickets? If so, not sure this levels the playing field. Usually the raffles are 100 points per day with maximum capped at 10 tickets.

I was referring to other raffles sky sometimes do through-out the year, but yes can now see its the same as previous xmas promo. It was just the 1000 points per day to level playing field that threw me, was hoping it was a mistake (wishful thinking haha), guess I just need to put more effort in to increase my chances!
"To be in the draw you must have earned poker points the previous day. Every 10 poker points gets you 1 ticket into the following day's draw with tickets capped at 100 a day to give recreational players a better chance of winning."
Whilst mathematically speaking having a cap on tickets that you accrue each day does level the playing field a bit, when that cap is effectively 1000 points a day, it is still heavily skewed towards higher stakes spin up regs. A bit of marketing spiel here, I think.
I honestly don't remember this being the case in previous years, thought it was always 100 points.

Think that was golden silver bronze ticket giveaway which was capped at a ton a day but ran week to week.

Yes, Golden Ticket Giveaway was structured in a different way - see below;
BRONZE TICKETS • Every 10 Poker Points you earn will award 1 bronze ticket. • There's a daily cap of 10, meaning the maximum number of bronze tickets you can earn in a week is 70. • There are 100 £20 cash prizes up for grabs every week in the bronze draw.
SILVER TICKETS • Every day you earn 100+ Poker Points you will be awarded a silver ticket. • There's a daily cap of 1, meaning the maximum number of silver tickets you can earn in a week is 7. • There are 50 £100 cash prizes to be won every week in the silver draw.
GOLDEN TICKETS • Earn 5 silver tickets in a week to bag a golden ticket & be in with a chance of winning the top £1,000 prize! • You can only earn one golden ticket each week so every player has an equal chance in the draw. • There's 1 £1,000 cash prize available every week in the golden draw.

@HayleyR27 Definitely doesn't level the playing field for recs. But Sky don't have to run this promotion and give away all of this? I don't see why their more loyal customers/customers who give more to the site in rake, don't have a better chance of winning. It seems fair to me to still? Agree there is some questionable advertising ha.
I'm saying this as a small stakes rec btw.... Good Luck!

Why should amount of rake given to the site be a measure of loyalty? There are many recreational players who have been playing micro-stakes games on Sky for numerous years. Are they not considered loyal customers?
I did raise an eyebrow when the promo description described it as a "level playing field", which was evidently incorrect. I see it's now been changed to "give recreational players a better chance of winning", which isn't accurate either. I personally think a cap of 100 tickets/1000 points a day is far too excessive for a promo like this. What's wrong with say 20 tickets/200 points?
For what it's worth I think it's a great promo and we'll hopefully have some recs being drawn out as well as the higher-stakes players. As a recreation myself, my opinion is somewhat biased and I may well be in the minority, but I think it's a real shame that it won't be much of a level playing field and hasn't given everyone a realistic chance of winning a prize or some extra cash in the run up to Christmas.
