Welcome everyone, to the 2021 Orfordable League, December Week 5 of 5

If you are not listed on the post below then please post your name/teamname on this thread to register, and thus qualify, to be in with a chance of winning a seat into the Friday 9.30pm £11 BH on December 3rd.

This runs every Friday at 7.15pm and is a monthly competition but you only need two scores to be in with a chance of a prize, your best two scores count.

Tournament: Friday Orfordable League- 10 seat Deepstack MTT with 12 min blinds
Time: 7.15pm EVERY FRIDAY
Entry: £3.30
Late reg: 60mins (end of Level 5)

EVERYONE IS WELCOME (bring your friends too)- come along and play in a nice, relaxed and friendly deep structured tourney, with plenty of banter, with the chance of a FREE MTT entry as a bonus.

RULES:
Last date/time for valid entry into The League- end of late reg every Friday
To qualify for a prize you must:-
1) Register your name /teamname on this thread or
2) Be on the AUTOREG list, which will be updated and posted every Friday
3) To win a prize you need at least two scores within the month, of which your lowest two will count as your monthly total
4) In the event of a tie, a countback system is in place, i.e, should two players have a total score of 8 (one with scores of 2 & 6, the other with scores of 3 & 5, the player with a score of 2 would win) , the player with the lowest individual score shall be deemed the winner.
5) Prizes are NON-TRANSFERABLE
6) Players will be automatically entered into the 9.30pm £11 BH on Friday January 7th 2022

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope you are all well and as Advent is upon us I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. This month is a FIVE week month for us but you still only need your lowest 2 scores to count for a prize.

Good morning Orfy folk, isn't poker wonderful. Last month's runner-up, @weecheez, suffered the ignomy of finishing in stone-cold last place last night...the wonders of variance eh! Anyhoo, there were 44 runners last night, of which 19 were Orfy regged. Onto the FT where 6 of our motley crew ended up last night, although none were able to grab the win but did come close. Taking the wooden spoon, of the FT, was none orther than last month's League winner, @MAXALLY, which was his 4th FT in succession leaving him in 6th overall, well played Alan. In 9th place was @Boomswitch which was good enough to install him into 5th overall, well played Boom. @TheEdge949 bounced his way into 8th last night to leave him in 4th overall, good to see you back fighting it out at the top end and well played Mark. We jump 2 places up to 6th which is where @daggers747 was blunted in his quest for the top, leaving him 3rd in the League, well played daggers. Sitting 2nd in the League after his 3rd placed finish last night is @FLASHJONNY, well played Jonny. Although he could only manage a 2nd place last night @goldnballz sits proudly atop the League, which should not come as a surprise to most of us as Keith is a very good player, well played Keith. Good morning Orfy folk, I hope everyone is well and staying safe. Just two weeks until Christmas, three weeks to the New Year but FOUR more Orfys to play before the years' end...it doesn't get any better than this does it ? Can @MAXALLY extend his run of FTs to 5 in a row & can anyone topple the 2 United fans at the top of the League? Good morning Orfy folk, of the 36 runners last night just 16 were Orfy regged, with 5 of those hardy souls making the FT. Before I get to the FT finishers a special mention for @MAXALLY who was attempting to make his 5th FT in a row but fell short with a 14th place finish, which lifted him into 3rd overall, well palyed Alan. Although @FLASHJONNY was making his 2nd FT this month, his 9th place finish wasn't quite enough to take over the League lead so remains 2nd overall, well played Jonny. Finishing in 7th last night was @weecheez1, his 1st FT of the month, well played cheez. In 6th was @giesahaun, also his 1st FT this month, this was good enough to move him into 4th overall, well played giesahaun. Making his 2nd FT of the month, @daggers747 5th place last night leapfrogged him into the League lead with a score of 11, just one better than Jonny on 12, well played daggers. It has taken a while but @FORDAKIDZ finally took the spoils with his win last night, which also lifted him up to 6th overall so congratulations and very well played @FORDAKIDZ. Good morning Orfy folk, there were 44 runners last night of which 17 were battling for the League title and of those 17 just a miserly 3 made the FT. A quick mention goes to last night's bubble boy, @weecheez1, who climbed 9 places up to 4th overall, well played cheez. Making his 2nd FT of the month in 10th was our Week 1 League leader @goldnballz, which was enough to lift him back up to 2nd overall (on countback), well played Keith. Making his first FT this month in 8th place was @stokefc, this moved him up 6 places into 14th overall, well played Sean. Our highest placed finisher last night was @supercrazy, also with his first FT this month, his 3rd place helping him move up 5 places into 5th overall, well played Mr. crazy. It is tight at the top of the League with @daggers747 leading the way on a score of 11, closely followed by both @goldnballz & @FLASHJONNY who are each on 12, so all three are eminently catchable in the next two weeks. Good morning Orfy folk, I hope Santa has been kind to you all this year and if not, there is always next year. There were 35 players last night with 17 being Orfy regs and of those 17, 6 made the FT. 10th place went to @giesahaun last night, his 2nd FT of the month, which moves him up the table by 3 places to 4th overall, well played giesahaun. Making his 1st appearance on the FT this month in 9th place was @Asho28, he climbs 6 places into 11th overall, well played Ash. I was another to make a 1st FT appearance this month with an 8th place, moving up 5 places into 8th overall. Another who climbed 6 places, also after making their 1st FT of this month, with a 7th place last night was @wynne1938, he now sits in 12th overall, well played Wynne. @-Stuey- finished in 5th place last night, his 1st appearance this month, well played Stuey. Our League leader for the past two weeks @daggers747 fell a place into 2nd overall after his 2nd consecutive wooden spoon (44th & 35th), I don't recall that ever happening before so it may be a record! Our League leader after Week 1 has returned to the summit as @goldnballz made his 3rd FT of the month with a 2nd place finish and leapfrogging daggers747 into 1st place on a score of 4, which is going to be difficult to beat next week, very well played Keith.

Good morning Orfy folk, I hope you are all well and have had a good Christmas. Welcome to the final Orfy, on the final day, of the year which still has both prizes up for grabs. That being said @goldnballz, on a score of 4, has an almost unassailable grasp on one of those prizes but stranger things have happened at sea (so the saying goes anyway) and it might just happen! It is a lot tighter in the chase for 2nd place with many more of us able to overhaul @daggers747, on a score of 11, with a decent run tonight. Good morning Orfy folk and Happy New Year to you all, I hope you all have a healthy & prosperous 2022. Of the 29 who played last night just 10 were Orfy regged and of those 10, 5 made it to the final FT of 2021.
Taking 10th place last night was @wynne1938, with his 2nd FT of the month moving him up by 6 places into 6th overall, well played Wynne. Also making a 2nd FT this month, just a single place higher in 9th was @Boomswitch. This helped him climb 7 places into 8th overall, well played Boom. Making his 1st FT of the month, with a 5th place finish, was @HENDRIK62, well played Neil. The biggest climber of this week, climbing 12 places to finish 4th overall thanks to a 4th place finish last night, his 2nd FT of the month, was @stokefc, well played Sean and oh so close to winning a prize. A single place higher last night would have bumped Sean into 2nd overall (on countback) but, alas, it was not to be this time. We have not seen much of @engy just lately but what a brilliant way to return by taking the win last night, very well played @engy. As you can probably guess the top 2 places overall have not changed so congratulations go to our prizewinners, Runner-up @daggers747, League Winner @goldnballz, Very well done daggers and very well done Keith. You will both be entered into next Friday's 9.30pm £11 BH.
