Morning.
Disappointingly, the £8,000 Avenger Main failed to cover, coming up £100 short. That apart, numbers were not too bad.
In sport, and with The Ashes just days away, we look at a stunning performance in the Test between India & New Zealand, where Ajaz Patel too all 10 India wickets. Spinners in Test cricket usually do their damage on days 4 & 5, as the pitch breaks up & becomes more amenable to spin, but he did it on Days 1 & 2. (5 x catches, 3 x LBW & 2 x clean bowled).
Only two players in the history of Test Cricket have ever done that - Jim Laker & Anil Kumble.

£6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£6,300)
A terrific result as HAYSIE takes BWBH, just 24 hours after @Essexphil won £3,300 at a GUKPT event. Ever since I've been in poker it's been evident that young players have little respect for Seniors, which I always think is rather sad. I'm biased of course. Well done Tony, chuffed to bits for you.
As expected in a £100er, there were no obvious spots in the Final, the other 5 all have impressive résumés.

£1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,200)
Back in 2017 Draw4Flush took a Sharpshooter Main for £1,500 & was winning Sheriffs & the like for fun, but it's been a bit uphill since, so winning last night's Mega would have been very welcome.
Despite being nicely in profit overall, loosecamel has had a testing few months, maybe the runner-up berth here will signal a change of fortune.
PLO8 fan coo1-um played 5 x £1.20 All-In Sats to Mega, won one & went on to run 4th for a useful £97.

The results of Swimmr have improved markedly in the last year or two, and exactly a month after taking Sheriff, repeated the feat last night. It was their 6th Sheriff win in a little over 12 months. Ought to get a Medal or something for that.

When playing poker, age should just be a number. There should probably be more younger players on the tight side, and more looser older players, but there are so many that disprove those theories.
How I wish I could bluff with the joyful abandon of @andrew1947
I miss Andrew1947
First met him at SPT
Players began to stagger in to the casino after a heavy Friday night
Andrew was sat in the corner looking very dapper with a coffee and a copy of the Guardian
Always a very friendly bloke
