Morning.

After a couple of flat nights, MTT traffic bounced back last night & we saw a really sprightly set of numbers, with the £6,000 Sharpshooter Main leading the way at £7,650, and a £2,000+ Sheriff.

The sporting highlight was in Snooker's prestigious UK Championships. Luca Brecel surprised everyone, himself included, to reach the Final, but it was Zhao Xintong who caused jaws to drop when he shrugged aside Barry Hawkins 6-1. Zhao is 24 years old & has been on & off the Tour since he was 16, but his performance last night was another level. Snooker fans are so lucky to have talents like him to look forward to, especially as age takes it's inevitable toll on Ronnie.

Elsewhere, there was a wonderful 2+ hours documentary on Frankie Dettori. Not your usual sycophantic stuff, it was a real warts & all affair. If there's such a thing as Sports Documentary of the Year, this must surely be a worthy candidate. There's a two minute taster at the bottom of this post.

£700 7 @ 7 £952

£6,000 Sharpshooter Main £7,650

£2,000 Mini £2,440

£1,000 Mega £1,540

£1,500 Sheriff £2,050

£1,500 Reload £1,632

£1,000 Turbo £1,260

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,500

£1,000 MidEx £1,220

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£952)

MAGPIETYKE has had to make do with runner-up spots in both Mega & Turbo in the last 6 weeks but bounced back to form with a 7 @ 7 win, and will have done well to fend off the excellent bigfatfish.

Good to see Daily Forum Comp regular (& past winner) Telmison 74 in the Final. Was 2nd in a £500 BH a few nights earlier too.

pacman821 does not go out of his way to make friends in the table chat boxes where he might be considered a shade too acerbic, but my oh my he can play. Has won numerous Mains, BWBH, Summit, & the Major twice this year alone.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,220)

Palace has been quiet for a few days but topped up his overly ample piggy bank with a MidEx win.

In 6th was Curt360x27, perhaps distracted by the Plsaystation he won in Saturday's December Daily Draw.

    In other news...

We mentioned a few days ago that @destinycod won 4 MTT's in a single night, well @spearsy136 equalled that on Friday. Well done man.

Today sees the GUKPT Grand Final, & I note that @M10Dembele is well-placed entering today's final day, with £6,000 locked up already. He'll be hoping for much more though, there's over a quarter of a million up top, which is life-changing stuff, or nearly so. Won't be easy though, amongst the remaining villains are EPT winner Middy (Tom Middleton), Mad Turk (Yucan Eminoglu), Jack Hardcastle, Martin Frey and another familiar name from Sky Poker in James Raan.
