Afternoon.
Traffic was so-so last night, though there was a lot of stuff going on elsewhere, with both Live & Online fessies galore. In addition, 'Stars began their super-duper $5,000,000 biggie last night (87,000 entries so far), none of which helped us much.
In sport, very unusually - perhaps uniquely - yesterday's F1 GP from Saudi Arabia was sensationally exciting, with drama galore. Sadly, the brand new racetrack, built at an enormous cost, was something of a disaster waiting to happen, & is way too dangerous. Really, F1 should never use the track again, but F1 Politics, & of course money, will ensure it stays on the calendar.
In snooker's UK Championships, Zhao Xintong duly ran away with the Final as expected, & at 10/11 pre-match that was perhaps the best value bet we'll see in a very long time. He looked like the heir apparent to Ronnie O'Sullivan, but the mystery remains, what has he been doing the last 7 years? He's been on & off the circuit, & whilst showing occasional glimpses of talent, he moved up several gears last week. Whatever the answer, he's either a monster flash-in-the-pan, or the best thing to happen to snooker in many a year. He's a lovely, humble & self-effacing lad too.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,064)
Despite playing a little transparently, glassman60 took the 7 @ 7. 15,000 MTT's against his name, & has made the 7 @ 7 FT countless times, but as far as I can see this was his maiden win.

supernan is really on the move, & this completed a very useful 24 hour double - Saturday's Mini & last night's £6k BH. With victories in 7 @ 7 & the £1k BH in recent months, this is quite a stunning improvement in form.
Another doing well lately is MAGPIETYKE, winning Saturday's 7 @ 7 & 2nd here in much better company.
Completing a trio of players doing well recently was 6th placed bakersdoze, who had a PB a few weeks ago in winning Marksman Main.

peiratis88 is no stranger to these threads & was taking the Major for the 2nd time in less than two months. Has probably won most Featured MTT's, notably Sharpshooter Main & numerous Sheriff wins. Blocked on Sharky so I can't really tell much, but seems to be top-drawer.
Runner-up redeyedryu enjoyed their biggest ever cash.
For a long time it looked like jordz16 would win this - again - he was chippie for ages & had a huge lead at one stage, but it was not to be. He does very well at Sports Betting, so I daresay he'll cope.
In 5th was rankers, who had a brace of Sheriff wins a few months back.
BanterJam, 2nd in Wednesday's Predator Main, earned a similar sum in 6th here.

£1,500 Mini Major (£1,860)
What a wonderful 48 hours Cammykaze has had. Took Friday's Turbo, & now Mini Major. Was 3rd in 7 @ 7 too.
A decent 24 hours for reeler, took a £1k BH on Saturday, & 2nd here.
In 6th was Doubleme, who won Sunday Major seats in Freerolls twice in 48 hours in October, followed 2 days later by victory in a UKOPS Eliminator Freeroll. Was also runner-up in a Mini recently. Collected £93 last night, so maybe that'll be a nice pressie for his girlfriend.
zzgoose, winner of Wednesday's Predator Main, was 7th.
Crossing the line almost hand in hand in 10th & 12th were Jac35 & MAXALLY.

£1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,360)
woody35603 wins the Mega, knot a name I'm familiar with.
In 5th was NOSTRI, who played that monsta $5 milly thing on 'Stars. Got off to an absolute flyer in that, but you need to win a lot of flips in those affairs & it was not to be this time. No harm in trying though, especially with $500,000 up top. Still, by way of consolation he collected £100 here.

£1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,380)
A 24 hour Turbo double for cabbaz, winning it on both Saturday & Sunday, won both Quickdraw & Sheriff a few days ago too, so 4 wins in less than a week.
Runner-up was Saturday's Quickdraw winner, snoxx11.
In 4th was karlluke, who usually gets her results much earlier in the evenings, but stayed up late last night.

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,440)
Goodness me, here's a lovely surprise, with the Quickdraw going to Hjaltland. That's pronounced "Yatland", though easier if you use his real name - Colin. Those with long memories will recall he qualified for SPT Manchester all the way back in 2009. You may think there's nothing remarkable in that, but wait - he lives in the Shetland Isles, & so it was a 72 hour journey by road, rail & ferry to get there. And after all that he bust out early doors. Has anyone travelled further to an SPT? And can we reasonably assume he's the only Sky Poker player in the Shetland Isles?
Beat a strong field last night though, including StayOrGo, TIMBER, Arrogant, Natnug & JScorgie.

In other news...
Plenty of "Away" action yesterday.
In the GUKPT Grand Final, @M10Dembele finished a splendid 8th for some £19,250.
In the Grosvenor Online Fessie, @Jscorgie won GPF27 for over €7,000.
@rspca12 was 4th in a £100,000 affair on Grosvenor, collecting €6,650.
And finally, in the 'Stars $5,000,000 thing @NOSTRI won absolutely nothing.
Well done to all of them. Well, most of them.
so yeah another £170 profit from poker would pay for girlfriends Christmas present.
Ps When i said “Good Evening Alan, hope you’re well” i was talking to one of the other players at the table and not getting your name wrong
@Jac35 @Doubleme
I happened to be watching when that interchange arose. It's been a while since I laughed so much.
