Morning.
Will have to be a little brief today, I've overlaid thanks to staying up until the early hours watching England's humiliation in the first Test.
A bumper set of numbers last night, perhaps the best Friday since the Spring of this year.
Not much I can say about the Ashes except once again, utter humiliation. We really do need a thorough change from top to bottom, stating with getting a proper Captain, & getting rid of the Old Boys network. Trouble is, I have no idea who the Captain should be. Root, of course, should stay in the side & without the responsibilities of Captaincy he'd be an even better batter.

RodC took 7 @ 7 for the first time. He made a few Finals earlier this year, mainly in the now deceased £1k BH @ 19.30 but this seems to be his first win in a Featured MTT.

Good luck anyone who tried to predict the Top Six in this one last night.
The winner might be a bit special. From just 35 MTT's played he already has 5 x 4 figure cashes - he's won BWBH twice, been 5th once, & run 3rd & 4th in the Sunday Major. OK, sample size etc, but that's an outstanding ratio of results.
A PB for the runner-up too and given his average stake is only about £6, we would not expect to see him in £100 affairs, but he won one of the two £2.40 Frenzy's he played & ended up pocketing £1,200.

Seems like it was a night full of surprises as this was another PB by the winner, jell28. Been here at least 7 or 8 years without making too many waves, though did FT an Avenger Main this time last year, & more recently, 5th in Sharpshooter Main late last month.
Doooobs has not made too many headlines this year but has still churned out some decent scores. He won this back in June, & was 2nd last night so those 2 alone are handy enough. Won a BWBH in July too.
chriosdonkb, who we saw up at SPT Manchester, was 5th.

It's been a while since the term "treys" was in common use as slang for pocket threes. "tres" is Spanish for 3 I believe so it probably derives from that. Anyway, Treysfull has been here a very long time and barely played, but was 2nd in Mega two nights earlier so maybe we will be seeing more of them now.
sprazzer (2nd) is another old term which used to be slang for a sixpenny bit.
