Morning.
Reasonable numbers, which improved as the night wore on, though the Mini goes on the naughty step, missing by £40.
Day 1 of the 2nd Ashes Test? Think we'll pass on that.
In football, there are COVID related postponements galore already. Is it time for football to take a circuit-breaker for a few weeks perhaps? It's not just the players, it can't be a good thing for thousands of fans to travel together in trains, coaches & cars to & from games, let alone congregate in stadia.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£966)
Exactly a week ago I wrote;"7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£959) It's not every day a player rated 50 on Sharky wins a featured MTT, so well done Leannedaz. Memo to Sharkscope - maybe that needs revising".
Well Leannedaz won 7 @ 7 again last night. And that Sharky rating? It shot up from 50 to.... 51. Harsh. Think again Sharky, Leannedaz deserves better.
Riunner-up 3265 is a previous 7 @ 7 winner.
glencoelad was chippie in the late stages only to eventually finish 3rd.

The Main went to Niilex, & although I have limited data on them they have a Sharky Rating of 81, so presumably deemed to be quite handy. Interestingly, they only ever "single table", which is almost a rarity these days when most poker players seem to be hungry for more action.
Quite a dust-up behind Niilex, with Danyo0 & PBKR squabbling over the runner-up spot. Quite surprised @PBKR never won the thing, he's amazingly lucky in my experience.
Good efforts too by last week's Hitman winner whitters95, making a bold effort for the double before falling in 4th.
Considering he was plum last with 21 left, Lord Dour did well to finish in 6th.

An outstanding achievement by MARYBOBBIN, 2nd in Wednesday's Mini, 1st last night. Quite exceptional & extremely rare to make back to back Mini Finals, especially to finish 1st & 2nd.
Really pleased to see pompeynic run 3rd. He prefers PLO8 but seems to be able to play NLH pretty well too, & often runs deep in SPT's. He missed the recent SPT but fingers crossed he'll resume SPT duties when the 2022 Tour commences.

BOBBYJ55, who took a £1k BH last year, booked the win.
Runner-up Shrimpy28 was probably pleased to get knocked out, as he had to get up at silly o-clock this morning to watch England get thrashed to all parts of the Gabba. After another 2nd place he described himself as "the bridesmaid". That's quite a stretch of even my imagination.
wynne1938, perhaps one of the most elderly active players on the site, was 5th. If he went to the WSOP he could play the Super Super Seniors.

KLL-y took this which was a tough Final even by the lofty standards of Sheriff.
Heavy-hitters SwannLol, StayOrGo & Jscorgie ended up 4th, 5th & 6th.
Those three were outlasted by Mr Channing, making yet another Final, though the wins seems to be a bit thin on the ground right now. I reckon he'll book one before the year-end though.

Wages has been MIA for a month before turning up last night & beating a very strong Turbo FT.
scotty77 might be running into some form, 4th in MidEx earlier in the day, 9th in the Main, 2nd here & making MidEx for the 2nd straight night/morning, runner-up this time.
snoxx, KLL-y & Jscorgie were all involved too.

whitters95 is in the form of his life & had another solid night, winning this & 4th in the Main.
Steed432 is really making waves, winning Monday's Quickdraw & Tuesday's Turbo, taking a night off on Wednesday then running 2nd here. Was 3rd in Sunday's Sheriff too. Some run.
In 3rd was Jscorgie, who took Tuesday's Summit and then was another who was AWOL on Wednesday. No stamina, these boys.

Having seen the pay bumps , I would have been, sadly you can’t access that information or chip counts when playing on an iPad. Bit of a disadvantage that. I get the feeling PLO8 has passed me by and moved on from when I played. I don’t seem to get anywhere if and when I play these days.
Hope to see everyone at the next SPT
