The rules are simple. Nothing shorter than 1/2, stakes must be multiples of 2.50 either dollars or pounds depending on the account, except for spreads where the stakes will be in units of 10p to a max of £10 dependent upon bet type.
All bets will be sport bets and will not include horses or dogs and the challenge is to turn the starting balances into a profit of £1500.
This is a small stakes challenge with no reload permitted. Some days we won't have anything so it's not like a nap a day or anything like that.
The starting balances are as follows.
Sporting Index £50, Pokerstars $65 Betfair £50.
Should be fun eh.

That's it for today, I know, boring yeah but the truth is The 2 NFL games don't have a lot of value in any market. The handicaps look about right and the spreads seem bang on.

Disappointing start really, Fulham were victims of their own walk it in football typical Marco Silva and Sheff Utd were rarely bothered
So don't follow the darts enough to make an informed decision and I'm not even considering football markets that I don't follow, Ethiopian first division anyone ?
So there are 2 NFL games that offer the chance of a bet. Both are inter divisional games as the Washington Football Team +6.5 travel to Philly to play the Eagles -6.5. With both these teams sitting on identical 6 and 7 records this for me is tighter than the spread indicates as the Eagles go from awful to good and the Washington Team struggle for consistency,
So its to LA we go where the 9 and 4 Rams host the 5 and 8 Seahawks. Seattle have struggled this season whilst the Rams look to further enhance their play off credentials.

Seahawks 10 LA Rams 20 = Winner - Returns $13.87 P/L + $6.37
Football today with several games taking place across Europe and some fluctuating odds. Chelsea for instance are anywhere from 10/11 to 11/10 to beat Brentford and Spurs are between Evs and 23/20 to see off West Ham.
However the selections for today are;
Roma 8/15, Ath. Madrid 8/15, Liverpool 17/20 and Lille 8/13
The bet is a 50p lucky 15 for a total stake of £7.50 on Betfairs sportsbook.

My own fault for placing the bets really early 20+ hours before kick off, market moves pre kick off kinda told me where this was going.
Staked £7.50 Returned £0.81 P/L -£6.69.
Not sure yet if there's any market that looks appealing today.
One NFL game at 01.20 sees the 8 and 6 San Fran 49ers travel to face the 9 and 5 Tennessee Titans.
Titans are +3 - 17/20 with the line @ 11/8
49ers are -3 - 17/20 with the line @ 11/20
Points over / under 44 - 17/20
The value here might be in ignoring the spread and taking the Titans line, currently they occupy top spot in the AFC South, whilst 49ers sit in 3rd in the NFC West and travel across two time zones to play a good defence on 3 days rest.
So todays offering is Titans to win $5 @ 11/8 to return $11.87

He was good for first quarter, but that was about all. He's so immobile and I can't wait for TREY LANCE to start as 49ers QB ......hopefully they will give him a run out against the TEXANS , especially if results go badly for 49ers over the next week.

The reason for the lack of movement on the Index is that I haven't used it yet. The spreads have all been adequately covered by the handicaps and so by using fixed odds the exposure and volatility is very much reduced.
So I have decided to lay Chelsea on the exchange. If either Villa win or the game is drawn then I bank a £10 if Chelsea win my liability is £7.50.
The days other bet takes us to the NFL and the NFC East divisional clash which sees the terrible Giants hosted by the not much better Eagles. The fact that the Giants who are 4 and 10 actually beat the 7 and 7 Eagles earlier in the season shows how poor the Eagles can be.
However often when 2 poor sides meet it can result in a high scoring game and this is what we are hoping for as I have gone over 40.5 points for $7.50.
They say never bet on your own team but the Giants owe me something for my years of slavish devotion so lets hope its a high scoring humdinger.
