Morning.
before I start, the "missing word" from the title was "snatc h". That profanity filter is weird.
Sky James made what I thought was a very bold decision to hold the Guarantees last night & as is so often the case he was right & I was wrong, everything got across the line comfortably bar the Mini, which only came up £55 shy.
Boxing Day is one of the best days of the year for Sport, which - for me - makes it a better day than Christmas Day. It started dreadfully though, with England putting up another dismal effort in the 3rd Ashes Test. After Day 1 of the Third Test, Australia are 1/100 to win the Ashes, & 11/10 to win the Series 5-0. 11/10 for 5-0 would be the bet of the century were it not for the vagaries of the weather, which could ruin the bet.

Absent for 6 months until Thursday, sabita took down the 7 @ 7, & then went on the DYM rampage, winning their last 6 on the bounce (1 x £5 & 5 x £10).
lundie was runner-up.
MAGPIETYKE has had a great few days, winning a Quickdraw, and making the FT's of 7 @ 7, Mini & MidEx.

A commentator's nightmare here with the HU being between alanna & Aleeanne.
Three of the longest serving players on the site crossed the line in 4th, 5th & 6th. I certainly recall some fun times in Vegas with TommyD & Mr Bates. My memory is hazy, but maybe jawzindawz has done Vegas with us too?

Mega went to rich-a-64, from plumbob & macca. The real story though - story of the night actually - was Shrimpy28, who some rather cruel folks have nicknamed "The Bottler". When the FT began he had over half the chips in play, & with 4 left he had 60% of the chips, & had earned more in Head Prizes alone than 2nd place Prize Money. And he finished 4th..... Variance can be so fickle, after getting it in bad all comp & getting the lot, just when it seemed he had it all wrapped up, variance, or variarinse as I believe it is now known, suddenly developed a sour mood.
To be fair to him, he got in in good with his last 3 hands - including Aces - but lost all three. Normally I'd mock him big time, but it's Christmas, & he's a mate, so we'll draw a veil over it, say nothing, & move on. That's what friends are for, right?

And here's another two mates battling it out, Palace Bloke & Mr Bates. Wonder how many times these two - nicknamed "Pocket Deuces" for obvious reasons - have been 1st & 2nd in Sheriff down the years?
I bet neither of them can surpass this though;
Wednesday's Sheriff - NChanning 5th
What price the magical 5 x 5er tonight?Thursday's Sheriff - NChanning 5th
Friday's Sheriff - NChanning 5th
Saturday's Sheriff - NChanning 5th
Let's just hope he backed himself EW, quarter odds, five places.

£1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,599)
Reload winner DOTUN19 has been here 9 years now, & has almost 16,000 games on their CV, but 14,500 were DYM's so we don't see too much of them in these threads. For a DYM player at stakes up to £11, a £300 1st prize is a pretty big deal, so well done DOTUN.

£1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,230)
After his magnificent Main - Sheriff - Turbo treble on Wednesday, cabbaz took a couple of nights off, then returned last night & took Turbo again, so effectively for the 2nd time on the bounce. Oddly & perhaps sadly, Sharkscope don't seem to have credited him with his Main Event win on Wednesday. He got the money though, which is all that matters I guess.
loosecamel has had a "nearly" few days - 3rd in Turbo on Wednesday, 2nd in Sheriff on Thursday, & 2nd in Turbo last night. Still, he only played 1 MTT last night so not a bad return.

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,160)
beefmyster took Quickdraw, then followed up by winning a £300 Turbo jobbie.
Skipper151, 2nd in this the previous night, was 5th, & also FT'd Turbo.
The silver-tongued smooth-talking janechrist, who won Thursday's Hitman Main, was 6th. To be fair, judging by their chat, they were in a good mood last night.

URGENT MESSAGE FOR @DoyleBrun
Hi Chris,
If you happen to read this, can you confirm to me whether you wish to play tonight's Mini Major please? I have sent you a PM, but I've become a little confused as to what we agreed.
