Morning.
Some cracking numbers last night, but you'd expect that on Boxing Day I suppose. Good to see though.
What a disappointment the Ashes have been. I've looked forward to it all year, & fully expected defeat, but it's been a humiliation. Australia are now 1/100 to win the Series, 1/500 to retain the Ashes, & Even money to win 5-0. As I noted yesterday, were it not for the uncertainty of the weather (& possible COVID abandonments) Even money for 5-0 is surely the best value bet ever.

The opener went to djsppiros, their best result for some months.
Decent evening for Taximan1, 3rd here & 2nd in Reload.
glencoelad, 3rd in this on Friday, was 4th this time.

Jacquesb took a very competitive £6k BH Final. A low volume, occasional visitor to Sky Poker, nevertheless has some sparkling results, including winning Avenger Main back in October. He had a bullying stack last night & I gather he used it very well.
PRhack93, MattBates & even LmfaoAllin all had a shot at the win, eventually coming home 2nd, 3rd & 4th.

£12,000 Sunday Major (£14,900)
pesadilla is not a player we see here very often, just 39 MTT's in the 18 months they have been with Sky Poker, most of them the Sunday Major. A closer examination though suggests a really good player, with a finishing record in the Sunday Major which includes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th & 9th from just 23 attempts.
Runner-up wilkly28 is another low-volume player, who took down a Sheriff in September.
Super result for Swog in 4th, earning him his 2nd best ever result, beaten only by the £1,300 he collected when winning a Sunday night £6k BH in August. Timeform give him a P.
craigcu12, back on home soil where he does best & always has, cashed in both Major & Mini, finishing 22nd & 29th respectively. If he played more here he'd get the lot, he really would.

£1,500 Mini Major (£1,980)
Mini Major winner PeterPoker is not a familiar face here, but has been with Sky Poker over 12 years, & I well remembering him playing an SPT at Luton in 2010.
That was the occasion when, for reasons I could never fathom, the then Sky Poker Suits invited a young lady named Kitty Lea to play. Kitty was a heavy-topped **** star, prominent on Twitter at the time & in fact still so today. Go figure. The late John McCririck was there too. Mad as a box of frogs, bless him.

£1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,300)
The oddly-aliased x34 had a good run in Friday's Avenger Main, then turned up last night & binked the Mega.
In 6th was wynne38, who is probably a sports bettor first & a poker player second, and seems to get by in both.

£1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,750)
If Sharky is correct - IF - POKER247 has played just 4 MTT's here, the first 11 years ago, before turning up out of the blue last night & winning Sheriff. I'm not actually convinced Sharky has got that correct though, I'm more inclined to believe they are a player new to the site.

On Christmas Day Badbeat999 turned up for the first time in 18 months, & played 2 MTT's without troubling the judges, but did better last night, single-tabling Reload & taking the win.
bossquaid, who won a Reload last month, was 4th. He won a UKOPS ME seat a few nights ago too, & I bet he is relishing playing that.

clov4r is quickly making a name for himself. With just 216 MTT's played, has already won Gold Rush Main, Mini, Sheriff, Turbo & run 5th in a Major. Keep an eye on clov4r in UKOPS, he could be anything.

Very much dominated by the Usual Suspects, with StayOrGo booking the win, and wineli, Mean Machine & scotty77 all in the mix.

MidEx went to jedinemo, who began the month nicely when collecting £100 in the Daily Draw Promo.
LmfaoAllin, 4th in a hot £6k BH earlier, was 6th. He then successfully bokked the Australian openers but must have gone to bed as it all went horribly Pete Tong later.

It's quite clear I have more success in freezeouts than I do in KOs.
Not having a bounty on my head or a short stacks head is key, it becomes far easier for me to pull bluffs as the sallow stack trap my nuts as the larger of two short stacks and 3bet or steal blinds when 30-40 BB deep with a larger stack left to act.
I am gonna be looking into doing lots more work on bounty hunter/KO play across the next year.
@craigcu12
Once you master BH's you'll get the lot here.
@Jacquesb
Terrific performance I'm told, & hopefully, with no school this week presumably, we'll see you for UKOPS.
Educate a young man: what is a ‘time form give him a P’ mean 😄
@Swog
Oh my Swog, you've led a sheltered life.
P commonly referred to as a large 'P'; the horse is capable of much better
Or, translated, this is a very progressive sort and probably still has plenty of improvement in it.
@Swog
Note; Do NOT confuse with a lower case "p".
"commonly referred to as a small 'p'; the horse is likely to improve"
pesadilla must be a nightmare to play against..
Oil get moi coat...😂

The Pun Department are on holiday this week.
