Morning.
Another terrific set of numbers, probably to be expected on another Bank Holiday at the end of an over-long Xmas break. Marksman Main, with guarantee upped from £5,000 to £6,000, made a lovely £7,440, with good numbers also in Sheriff (£2,250) & Quickdraw (£2,180). With the holidays now over, & folks returning to work, I daresay numbers will start to tail off from tonight though, unless we get some really bad weather. We are definitely in the nut time of year for online poker.
Sport.
Anyone watch Man U get humiliated by Wolves last night? I thought Wolves were excellent, but maybe that's partly because Man U were so poor.
At 11.30pm this evening (UK time) the Fourth Ashes Test starts. England are unchanged, except that Broad comes in to replace the injured Ollie Robinson. Presumably, the England Management think this is our best side.
Anyone think we have even the remotest chance? Win lose or draw, I'll enjoy it, it's so refreshing to see live cricket played in lovely weather. It's a privilege to watch the Aussies too, because although all the media hype has been about how bad England have been, the fact is the Aussies are an awesome side.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,127)
LittleGJ, who spends over 90% of his time playing DYM's, must have fancied a change, as he played the 7 @ 7 & binked the win. Is a very successful DYM player where he makes a ROI of around 9%, which strikes me as very good in that format. Bear in mind of course that those who play a high volume of DYM's also earn a good lump of Rewards Payments.
In 5th was waller02, who had his best ever year on Sky Poker in 2021, & by some way. His last decent cash was in a BWBH just before Christmas, since when he's largely been off the scene. If he puts his mind to it, & stops doubting himself, he should have another successful year.

bigfatfish is another who, like the 7 @ 7 winner, spends 90% of his time at the DYM Tables. In MTT's he had a terrific 2021, & this year seems to have started well too, as while winning the Main he also took down a £500 BH. That's just greedy.
In 2nd was HAYSIE. What can you say about him? Argumentative, stubborn, never studied a poker training video in his life, & just ploughs his own lonely furrow with his own money. Straight as a die though, & if he has something to say, he'll say it to your face. I love him to bits. I do feel sorry for Mrs HAYSIE though.

£1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,700)
WILS12, who has been AWOL during Christmas, is not a name familiar to many of us, but a delve into the archives soon reveals that this is the 2nd time he has won Marksman Mini. Made the FT of a UKOPS Mini too.

Don't know a thing about the winner, has zero Forum mentions or activity, & is not Opted In to Sharky. I'll know next time though.
Runner-up TommyD seems to have moved back to MTT's of late, & this was his third FT in a week or so, best of which was 4th in the UKOPS Main.

tonyp142 might be the only player to have won a Featured MTT on all three days of 2021 - Mega on the 1st, Turbo on the 2nd & now Sheriff on the 3rd. What price the 4 timer tonight?
No surprise to see a deep Sheriff run by NOSTRI, who has plenty of winning form in big MTT's including 1st, 1st & 2nd in the very tough Avenger Main.

Sigh. Look who won Turbo. Took Sunday's Mega too.
2nd was EASYFIX, who has been a loyal supporter of Sky Poker since the year dot.
Dog Bloke, just 24 hours after winning the Major, was 4th.
In 6th was PokaBayb9. What an extraordinary record he has. From less than 190 MTT's he has already won a UKOPS HR, a UKOPS Main, BWBH, £6k BH & Sheriff. Proper form that, & no surprise to see Sharky rate him at 92.

grinddd had a stellar 2021, & got off the mark for this year with a Quickdraw victory. He won Sheriff on the very same day last year.
"win a day" man tonyp was 2nd.
In 4th was clarke996, who had that extraordinary treble last month, winning the Major, Predator Main & Sheriff, all in the space of a few days.

OFFICIAL CORRECTION
Earlier, I suggested @NOSTRI had winning form in the Avenger Main (1st, 1st & 2nd).
In fact he's never won a Main, I was confusing him with @waller02
Apologies.
This time last year...
Here's Who Won What on this day last year. It took me a while to work out what the headline was referring to but I got there in the end.

Well played @tonyp142. I think I took the CL a few times 3-handed but inevitably ended up spewing it away.
Mrs Haysie very much appreciates your comments.
But it seems the weather forecast is pretty grim down under. Still, probably a big price that, seeing as they'll probably only need 3 or 4 sessions to bowl us all out twice
The full 4th Test odds are;
Australia 4/1
Draw 2/5
England 16/1
Don't see odds like that very often...
