Who won what, Monday 10th January - Potsnacker is now a Main course

Morning.

After a wonderful Xmas & New Year, MTT numbers took a bit of a dive last night, perhaps also not helped by Man U v Villa on the TV.
Apart from the Mini, which missed by £25. Everything covered, but certainly not by the amounts we have regularly seen of late.

In last night's Man U - Villa game, Vila had two goals disallowed. In one of them, VAR took almost FOUR MINUTES to reach a decision & even then had to pass it back to the Ref to take a look. It's surely clear & obvious that that is not clear & obvious, right? Well no, because they eventually chalked the goal off, which implied the referee had made a clear & obvious error. And I'm sorry my description made no sense, but nor did that logic by Team VAR. If it takes 4 minutes to decide, it is not clear & obvious.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,008

£6,000 Marksman Main £6,270

£1,500 Mini £1,500

£1,000 Mega £1,060

£1,500 Sheriff £1,550

£1,500 Reload £1,608

£1,000 Turbo £1,020

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,240

£1,000 MidEx £1,240

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,008)

    Plenty of Sky Poker veterans here, with goldnballz booking the win, bbMike 2nd & glencoelad 3rd. It was the 2nd time goldnballz had won 7 @ 7 since Xmas Eve. With a 20% ROI over 36,000 games with an ABI of £6, that's a nice little side-income for Keith, or perhaps more correctly, Paula.

    @goldnballz 288000 1 £138.60 + £68.91 Head Prizes 9

    @bbMike 0 2 £83.66 + £14.64 Head Prizes 3

    @donaughee 0 3 £51.41 + £47.21 Head Prizes 8

    @nickdh 0 4 £40.82 + £34.11 Head Prizes 10

    @glencoelad 0 5 £34.78 + £24.53 Head Prizes 7

    £6,000 Marksman Bounty Hunter (£6,270)

    Quite a surprise here as Potsnacker takes the Main. His usual speciality act is MidEx, which he has won 5 times in the last 18 months.

    In 7th was Vince_107, playing only his 4th MTT since he binked Xmas UKOPS 20 for £1,650 a fortnight ago. Weird to have such a big win & then go MIA for a few weeks, but doubtless there's a good reason.

    £1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,500)

    squeak13 is quietly building up a really nice CV. Already has wins in Gold Rush Main, Gold Rush Mini & Hitman Main, & added Marksman Mini last night. Has been with Sky Poker just over 10 years & has been consistently profitable at MTT's.

    Good to see D96NWE have a decent night, 5th here after running 2nd in a £500 BH a little earlier.

    Taximan1 picked up 6th place but £70 was all he had to chauffeur it. (Copyright @Phantom66).

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,060)

    neenio is another who earns himself a nice little side-income at MTT's here, and has a 42% ROI after some 19,000 games. Recent wins include Mini (twice), MidEx (twice), Reload (also twice) & now a Mega.

    Once again M0RG4N4T0R had a good session, 2nd here & 3rd in Sheriff. In less than 300 Games has over 20 Featured MTT FT's, with his best result being a few weeks ago in UKOPS 03 for £3,700. Has also won Sheriff & Mega. Very interesting prospect.

    In 3rd was Shrimpy, who has a lovely approach to the game & a great mental attitude, seems to take adversity in his stride, as all recreationals should. Did very well last Spring, winning Avenger Main for £2,600. Just weeks later he ran 5th for around £2,500 in a £30,000 UKOPS Main won by none other than hughjarse9. If he applied himself he'd be a huge winner, but I fancy he is entirely happy going along as he does. What's not to like?

    @neenio 530000 1 £196.10 + £95.50 Head Prizes 5

    @M0RG4N4T0R 0 2 £116.60 + £57.36 Head Prizes 4

    @russo92 0 5 £42.40 + £72.77 Head Prizes 7

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,608)

    tonyp142 took this to record his 4th Featured MTT of 2022 - Sheriff, Turbo, Mega & Reload. Has also run 3rd in back to back Main Events. Early days yet but is on course to make north of £50,000 this year.

    Runner-up lewjax enjoyed his biggest score so far this year.

    Bristolian super-chef LmfaoAllin was 5th. Proper chef, not a microwave jobbie.

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,020)

    maza8311 seems to do best late at night, & has won MidEx 3 times & Turbo twice in recent months.

    Blair Reid took 10 Head Prizes but could only finish 2nd, whereas Swog in 3rd never took a single Bounty. Even steveysee in 4th beat that. Swog & steveysee have near identical Sharky ratings, so presumably have similar abilities. Nice one Swog.

    @maza8311 170000 1 £204 + £113.80 Head Prizes 3

    @BlairReid 0 2 £127.50 + £150.11 Head Prizes 10

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,240)

    We have not seen anything of Gambelo since Xmas UKOPS until he returned to the fray last night & took Quickdraw. In fact has only played around a dozen MTT's here since November. Probably been casting his net in deeper waters elsewhere.

    This time last year...

    Amongst the winners this day last year was Chrismags. Sadly, we've barely seem him since May.

    @The--Don got a mention though, 5th in some bowl comp, but that's good for him.

    Talking of The--Don it's his birthday today, & I understand he will celebrate it by being slightly less miserable than normal, leaving @Duesenberg to carry the flag for Team Moan & Groan.

    It was a decent battle with cabbaz but it always felt like he was getting it. I think, in fairness, he should get the £560 and I'll just settle with the £240 although if he wants to send me £160 we can take £400 each just to be fair.

    It was only £559. Shocking accountancy all round. I have told you both about this at least 450 times before.
