Morning.
At first glance, the numbers look OK, but a closer look tells us that the £6,000 Predator Main only just got over £5,000. Numbers had definitely declined this week as people returned to work, but even so, that £1,000 miss was a bit of a shocker. Were the absentees all Chelsea or Spurs fans perhaps? Curiously, on the same night last year there were a bunch of missed Guarantees.
Anyone watched any/many of the AFCON matches? It's been a bit of a tough watch so far, with 12 games producing a grand total of 12 goals, & the highest score by any team being just 2. Ten of the 12 matches have ended 1-0 or 0-0. Many years ago, AFCON used to be a goal-fest, with teams attacking gung-ho style, but it seems the opposite now.
In yesterday's Tunisia - Mali match, the game was so poor that the referee blew for time after 85 minutes, though it should be mentioned that he has form for match-fixing.
I had hoped to watch most of the AFCON matches, but I think I may have to give up on that.
Moving on to cricket, the 5th Ashes Test starts tomorrow (Friday), but the bad news is that it is a Day-Night match & so starts at 4am UK time. Don't think I'll bother with that either. The whole idea of a Test Match - proper cricket - being "Day-Night" is beyond ridiculous. What is the world coming to?

The opener went to alan25, who won a Gold Rush Main a few years ago. Been with Sky Poker best part of 10 years I think, as I clearly remember some of his hands featuring on the TV Show.
A thin night by his lofty standards for tonyp142 - 2nd here & 4th in Quickdraw.

JPDERRY tends to single table, & this was only his 5th MTT of 2022, so he's nicely in profit for the year now.Those who have been here long enough may remember there used to be a JPDERRY Fan Club on the Forum. No, it's true. Here you go, have a look;

£1,500 Mini Predator (£1,565)
The Mini was won by rancid. He used to have a Forum Diary called "Rancid rolls no more", but I have a hunch he's abandoned it as it's not been updated since February. 2012.

£1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,300)
Mega was won by Cheezy, aka weecheez1, who is one of the most fun guys you could ever wish to meet. He showed up at at least one SPT 2 or 3 years ago - think it was Manchester or Glasgow - & he was great craic.
Major_Tilt won both Mini Hitman & Reload last month, & only just missed another win here.
5th was Mr Bates with cabbaz 6th.

£1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,500)
After winning Tuesday's Summit, djsnorlax turned up last night & single-tabled Sheriff all the way to the win.
UnEuropean has now finished 2nd, 4th & 6th in the last 6 nights in Sheriff.
Dog Bloke was 4th, cabbaz 5th & CHALKY107 6th.
A remarkable effort by Swog, who despite being the obvious mark at the table still managed to finish 3rd.

£1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,470)
chris2305 has thin volume & single tables, so with this Turbo win and 3rd in Midex two nights ago he's doing just fine. Must have been quite daunting 4 handed to be up against Super_Oli, rofddy & Mr Channing, but he got the job done.

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,220)
Toughest FT of the night imo. Despite not logging on until mid-evening, cabbaz won Quickdraw, was 6th in Mega & 5th in Sheriff.
Similar goes for Dog Bloke, Oli, tonyp & roddy who all made two or more FT's in the session.

Playing just his 3rd MTT since Boxing Day, hinton took MidEx.
A 4th FT of the session for Super_Oli - Main, then the late night trio of Turbo, Quickdraw & MidEx.
Mr Bates & Tim Tim Timmy were 4th & 5th.

This time last year...
Quite a night a year ago, as today is the anniversary of the day @loosecamel won Predator Main. In the same event, @Swog & @Shrimpy28 also got favourable mention. That's quite the hat-trick.

Ahh, thank you Mr Un.
Now go win tonight's Sheriff please, failing that, 3rd or 5th, so we can build up to a full set of Sheriff FT positions.
