I had the issue with table freezes three times today, weirdly my other tables continued to run fine so seemed to be completely random. The lobbys have gone back to going bold on first registering for x amount of time and clicking between games will show again when it stops auto going bold. I'm sure all the regs are used to dealing with the issues as much as possible by now, i think the larger problem is people coming on to the site playing the odd game for fun having a very negative experience such as a game freezing or not opening and being put off returning and also communicating the experience to other people playing for fun that it might be a risk to play on sky because they lost money due to something completely out of their control. To be fair the customer service is good with dealing with refunds quickly, but i suspect a fair few people i play at the tables either don't have an awareness of how to go about that or the ease of it, or are just having a quick punt and dont have time to be messing around explaining to a chat service why they want a refund. Tikay you're a huge help in acknowledging these issues, hopefully the process of getting to the bottom of the issues is not being neglected or just put aside by those higher up, i have no idea on the size of the tech team working for sky but the timescale of this issue and the inability to not find a solution doesn't really reflect very well and warrants some sort of accountability and explanation to paying customers i think.

It's just bizarre how it's just a random table that freezes. I'll be playing 8-12 DYM and it will just be one table that randomly freezes... In my experience Customer support are also quick at refunding but I'm always told its my fault. If this happens to a new player and support say its their fault why would they come back? I've requested and been granted 3 refunds over the last week. Two for table freezes and one for a site crash. last night support pointed this out and said this will be my last 'gesture of goodwill' :( We'll be lucky to get any kind of explanation from higher ups when support blame the players.

Being told it is your own fault is the most tilting thing ever. Anyone who can get through one of those interactions with Cc and get straight back to grinding is a better man than me. Last time I had tables freeze I was also told the usual it's my own fault and you won't be getting any further refunds after this. When the site crashed last week I thought i would be better off in long run just taking the loss and carrying on playing when site came back up rather than going through that Cc bs yet again and then not playing on the site again for a week because I'm so **** off. It makes me laugh how many people praise that cc Live chat on here. The operators have absolutely no clue about poker and will always try and blame the customer. What is good about that? It is pathetic.

I play on browser and the tables still freeze and the lobbys still lag. The only advantage to playing on browser is you can recover the tables quicker when it **** up.

It really is beyond a joke now how long this lobby problem has been going on. It is a major problem I'm sure for any serious sng player yet clearly those in charge have no intention of fixing the issue. There is no valid excuse for this still being unresolved.

Is it any wonder you get all these players who don't trust the site and go on about rigged Internet decks and favoured players when the site is run in such a tinpot manner?

Maybe i give them too much credit but surely the techies can't be this useless at their job. I think due to the outdated software the issues literally can't be resolved... Just some kind of communication would be nice to let the players know what's going on to fix the issues.

Theres no excuse for the CC, requesting a refund due to the site crashing (for everyone) or tables freezing and being told it's your fault don't let it happen again is pathetic.

I agree with a lot of what you say.

The software probably means that the problems cannot be resolved-there are only so many patches you can do.

I think you are being a little unfair on CC and the Techies. Sky Poker is only a very small part of Sky Bet, which in turn is controlled by Flutter. They both have lots of jobs to do, and Sky Poker is only a tiny part of that. That is not their fault. There are few (if any) staff dedicated purely to Sky Poker in those Departments

The simple problem is that Sky Poker is a very small cog in an increasingly large wheel. Put simply, it is not being allocated sufficient resources to deal with problems. At least for now. I don't think the people at Sky Poker currently have any idea when (or even if) that might change. Because, if they did, I think they would tell us.

In regard to being a very small cog of the business, it really does seem that way and I guess is being treated accordingly.

It also seems that cc are operating with one hand and one foot tied behind their back for one reason or another as well. I do find it hard to be too critical of the team as frustrating as it is being told the same things. They are working with what they have in terms of customer support and if they had new support procedures or news to give they would advise on this.

We know the software is not the best and is old. The older the software the harder to implement a fix for any length of time one would imagine. Have thought for a while now that it's going to be bandaged up until it's unusable. Whether Sky or Flutter wish to upgrade the software or get specialists in I guess time will tell. Sure the business know what they are doing and if Sky Poker is not a money spinner then why would they make better software a focus?

I'm surprise anyone can even get a response from CC. I have never gotten a response in 2 years, it is almost like I am blacklisted.

I've had crashes that resulted in lose of £300+, at least 5 of them were on £20 DYMs.

As for Skypoker it's self, out of all the the other 4( Bet, Bingo, Vegas, Casino), if my memory is correct, earns the least out of them. SkyBet is the biggest moneymaker. Tikay is just a front man for Higher-ups who don't give a ****( maybe little) about the outdated software. The info was on CompaniesHouse, since the sale to Flutter the Info was taken down and re-upload to the Flutter's page, but with no breakdowns of what each of the 5 components earns them.
