Who won what, Sunday 16th January - craig wins the Major, with Irish Rose 3rd.

Good afternoon.

How is it that Monday seems to come round every 4 days?

MTT traffic was OK last night, although the one exception was the Major, which only just struggled across the line. A week ago it made just shy of £17,000.

In sport, well what can we say about the Ashes debacle? We could debate the reasons all day, but really we can lay the original blame at the demise of the County Championship, which is just a sideshow these days, as there is so much emphasis on Limited Overs Silly Cricket. Until we fix that we will never produce good Test cricketers. And of course the players all seem to be happy to dash off to the IPL & suchlike & pocket fat cheques.

In football, something odd happened - Leeds United won, thanks to a Harrison hat-trick. Who'd have thought?

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,253)

7 @ 7 went to mrmidjet, making his thread debut. I initially misread his alias, & needed to be very careful typing it in case I got into trouble.

HUGHMANS came home 3rd, ahead of Team Big Boy in the form of Monty, THETANK & Crushy.

    £6,000 Bounty Hunter (£7,230)

SwannLol looks like he is now a fully paid up member of Team Big Boy. This was his 4th four figure win since October, the best of which was a UKOPS HR for around £4,000.

Runner-up SnapCrack surprised everyone - himself included I suspect - with a fine 2nd place. Usually plays much smaller, so this was a lovely score. Two days earlier he won himself a Sunday Major seat too, in the daily 6pm Freeroll.

3rd was PokaBayb9 who did so well in Xmas UKOPS.

5th for waller will have restored his confidence no end, as he had lost a little faith recently in his undoubted talent.

6th was tonyp, who is fast becoming a PITA to everyone by virtue of his much improved abilities.

    @SwannLoL 1205000 1 £976.05 + £218.06 Head Prizes 4

    £15,000 Sunday Major (£15,400)

Well well well, how about that - craigcu12 won the Sunday Major. Has superb form in the Major, back in August he finished 1st & 2nd in it in successive weeks. Recently he's been playing mostly micro stuff elsewhere as part of a Bankroll Challenge, then he pops up & wins a £110 entry Major. No idea if players still use their "hourly" as a measurement of ability, but his hourly must have shot up last night.

Runner-up gaming123 has an ABI of over £50, so big buy-ins don't phase him. Has a superb Major Record, and has now finished 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th - so every spot except 1st. Surely the win must come soon.

Once again IrishRose demonstrated her abilities with a wonderful 3rd place. She's won this a while back too.

5th was jordz, & once again UnEuropean was in the mix, after finishing 4th in Friday's BWBH.

    £2,000 Mini Major (£2,090)

Business90 has no previous form that I can see & was just back from 5 weeks MIA. That's the way to break your duck. Not an easy podium either, with devil_tear & roddy in attendance.

Once again waller did really well, & his rumoured lack of confidence is presumably now rapidly becoming a thing of the past. Confidence - or lack of it - is an extraordinary thing.

In 5th was jordz16, & as he also finished 5th in the Major he collects £100 from the FTJ.

TommyD managed small cashes in both the Major & Mini.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,520)

Jscorgie, still mortified by the memory of going a whole 5 days without a win until he took down Friday's Mini, continued his recovery with a Mega victory. Two wins in 3 days is his average run-rate at a guess.

tonyp, 6th in the £6k BH, made no mistake here & took down a big Sheriff.

I thought @StayOrGo had this sewn up, he had a huge stack early doors, but he ended up 3rd.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,700)

No problems this time from StayOrGo who took an exceptionally tough Quickdraw Final which included Jessieak, Super_Oli, Arrogant & Steed432, who was 2nd in Friday's Avenger Main before going on to win Turbo for the 2nd time in a month.

AngelAngel (2nd) has started to show some solid late nights results this year.

This Stack Builder thing is proving great fun, with peiratis booking a £2,700 win in a Freeroll.

TommyD is getting result after result in MTT's this year & picked up a very useful £1,575 in 2nd, with MrBlewPie 3rd.
