Afternoon.
For the 2nd straight night, both Main & Mini recorded small misses (£300 & £15), which is a little frustrating, but those apart, traffic was quite reasonable. There was good football on TV, & it's the wrong end of the month, so I suppose that contributed to the two near misses.
Not much sports news to report today, but those who watched last night's football were treated to a spectacular display of sulking, pouting & dummy-spitting by Ronaldo after he was subbed. Oh boy, he was not a happy Ronny.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£966)
Drewett has an odd profile, just 42 MTT's in 5 years, 30 of them in the last week. Returned from a 4 year absence last Thursday & won Turbo, 6th in Sheriff & 8th in Main, then won last night's 7 @ 7.
2nd was terrytwomore, & those who play him regularly will know he gets somewhat exercised in the table chat boxes.
gixxer puts in a lot of volume 90% of which is in DYM's, but in his rare forays into MTT's does OK, & in finishing 7th he just missed out on a very rare feat indeed- making the 7 @ 7 FT three nights in a row. (3rd, 6th & 7th).

neenio has already won Mega & Reload this year, & completed a hat-trick last night by taking down the Main.
In 5th was UnEuropean who is fast making quite a name for himself. In the last 6 nights he has made 4 big FT's - 4th in Friday's BWBH, 6th in Sunday's Major, 4th in Tuesday's Gold Rush & 5th in last night's Predator, & so back to back ME FT's. Next step is to start converting a few of those into wins.

Modest buy-ins & big fields are no problem to Samjay, who won the Mini & then ran 4th in Reload.
TONY509, twice a Gold Rush Main winner, was 2nd.
In 3rd was the man who does such a sterling job running MML, @NOSTRI & so for that alone it's always good to see him on FT's. I planned to pay tribute to his success at the tables today by listing his Main Event wins but my Sharky subscription expired overnight & I've got to renew it, so if anyone can let me know his win record in Main Events I'd appreciate it.
In 6th was gobbleoff, the sort of alias which some might find amusing for a few weeks.

A tough old Final this, with Sky Poker veteran scotty77 grabbing pole position ahead of Natnug.
4th was Pumpy, with ozzie 6th but getting zilch.
Swog is popping up in these Reports with increasing regularity, & was 5th here, after winning it last Friday. Bear with me whilst I try & find something nice to say about him, though I'd ask you to bear in mind the words of Captain Oates.

£1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,665)
bluenose7 won Reload & was then 6th in MidEx. The alias suggests they are an Everton fan, so they probably deserve a modicum of good fortune right now.

£1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,230)
Just a day after returning from a 2 year absence, miniraise took the Turbo. Interesting alias, especially now that the poker snobs turn their noses up at those who min-raise. When your opponents diss your play you know you are doing something right.

PRhack93 was runner-up in Tuesday's Summit & was 2nd again here.
In 4th was Steed432 who has been popping up all over the shop lately - won a Turbo, 2nd in Avenger Main, & 2nd, 4th & 6th in Quickdraw. One for the notebook.

This time last year...
We saw some Final Table Jackpot money by henners10 & he took Player of the Day, & in doing so denied it to @loosecamel who had a very solid session.
https://www.skypoker.com/secure/poker/sky_lobby/community/forums#/discussion/180933/who-won-what-wednesday-20th-january-including-final-table-jackpot-bink
Oh how I'd love to turn a few FTs into wins - lost a near-CL pot with 6 left in a sickening flip - AK to 88 - K on flop, 8 on turn and 8 on river just to make sure. These things happen though and FTing alone requires significant run-good, so no complaints.
(TLDR: how we all wish we ran like @Jscorgie !)
Playing a bit more MTT's again but mainly low buy in so keeping under the radar but if bankroll keeps going in the right direction hopefully move up the buy ins a little.
