WOW a late night and shocks.

What a night in the NFL.

Firstly despite being sacked more times than Steve Bruce, Joe Burrow somehow steers the Bengals to a post season road victory for the first time in almost 4 decades. Despite being sacked 9 times and with the Bengals O line withering under the Titans onslaught he still threw for 250 plus yards and the rookie "Mac Money" kicked the winning FG as the clock expired. Tannehill was awful for the Titans throwing Interceptions on the first play of the opening drive, the first play of the second half and also the final play to give the Bengals the ball with less than 2 mins remaining.

The second game was even more crazy as the Packers easily went down the field to score on the opening drive and open the floodgates right. Wrong.
Everything should have conspired to see the Pack through but Special Teams were the difference as the 49ers blocked a FG and then later as the 2nd half blizzard raged a punt which was returned for a TD.
Amazingly it was the 49ers who managed to keep both their composure and footing and as the clock ticked around to 03.45 GMT Jimmy G starts a drive with 3 minutes left and 2 minutes and 57 seconds later Gould has a kick in awful conditions to seal a win. It's up and it's good, splitting the uprights perfectly and OMG both top seeds lose at home.

From an asthetic viewpoint both games were awful but from a drama viewpoint compulsive watching. Can't wait for tonights games.
