Not sure why the casino were desperate to get her back though if she won the money at poker

I'm not convinced she won the money at poker, or not poker in the traditional sense.

Does not change the basic thrust of the article though.

    Agree totally.

Her account suggests she won £127k playing poker in about 2002. Really? 2006-possibly. But 2002? Must have been a cash game-Hendon appears to list her Tournament winnings as £120.

Many, many years ago I spent a short time suing/bankrupting people for a (former) casino. It truly sickened me to hear people arguing with a Judge that they were not insolvent, and that the next bet was bound to come in.

But the 1 that stays with me? I once asked someone how it had happened. He said the first time he went to that casino, he took £200 with him for fun, and left with nearly £20,000. And, due to the stupid assumptions he then made, he lost everything-his business, his family, and his self-respect.

    My first thoughts.
