Who won what, Monday 31st January - bronx takes the Main, & Natnug wins again

Morning.

MTT traffic last night? Mediocre Monday really. Everything covered, but numbers were a bit below the recent run-rate.

In sport, football had it's transfer deadline day yesterday, & the TV & newspapers all got very excited, as they always do on this occasion. The eye-catching deal was Dele Alli from Spurs to Everton for £40 milly. No surprise really, he was never going to be the sort of player Antonio Conte would embrace at Spurs. Dele is one of the great wasted talents in UK football, if he applied himself for a whole season he could be the best player of his type in Britain. His deft flicks & one-touch stuff reminds me very much of Ooh Ahh Cantona. Usually, he sparkles for a few games then goes all anonymous. If Fat Frank can find the right button press, Everton could be a must-watch team. And it's been a very long time since we could say that.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,057)

Every night, regular as clockwork, pedrobob logs in, plays the 7 @ 7 & nothing else, & when he busts, that's it for the night. Made the FT plenty of times, won it twice last year, & took it down again last night. Something rather pleasing about that.

3rd was splashies, whilst the calm & unflappable waller02, who won mega a few nights earlier, was 4th.

In 6th was gixxer, 90% of his volume here has been in DYM's, but when he moves across to MTT's he does OK, & this was the 4th time in January that he's FT'd 7 @ 7 - 3rd, 3rd, 6th & 6th.

Marksman Main went to bronx. The only previous winning history I can find was a Mini Avenger almost exactly two years ago. Presumably named after one of the 5 boroughs of New York, the other 4 being Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan & Staten Island. Does any major city on earth have better named boroughs than that? Fabulous, & very much on my bucket list to visit.

Anyway, back to last night's Main, & a quick mention to JACKDAW who was 8th here & 7th in FTT2. Not every day someone goes deep in those two.

You must tire of me writing about Natnug, but blame him, not me, it's not my fault he keeps winning. In the last week alone has now won Mini, 7 @ 7 & two x Sheriffs & a Summit. That's some heater he's on.

2nd was Monty15, who just two weeks ago won both Gold Rush Main & Reload on the same night.

3rd was glencoelad, who I'm sure will be looking forward to tonight's Edinburgh Derby, as he lives in those parts.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,350)

A new alias on the Sheriff Honours Board as LilacTri takes it down. No idea what tat alias might mean.

Mini winner Natnug was 4th. There, I knew it was all just run-good.

Swog (5th) seems to make quite a few FT's but rarely wins, average finishing position is probably about fourth & a bit.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,722)

spearsy ran deep (9th) in the Main which will have been a big disappointment, but he made up for it with a Reload win, which he also won two weeks earlier.

In 3rd was AngelAngel who seems to have appeared from nowhere & made a whole bunch of FT's in January, including a Turbo win.

MP33, who likes the odd bet, was 4th, with ribeiro66, who won this on Saturday, was 5th.

Yay, the doom switch is off at last & UnEuropean has returned to winning form. About time too. Been making FT's galore but the wins have been a bit thin on the ground.

    This day last year...

Not too much to see here though I notice THETANK won Turbo, & he won Mega last night to celebrate that anniversary.

A new alias on the Sheriff Honours Board as LilacTri takes it down. No idea what tat alias might mean.

    Lilac Tri
    Color: Silver
    Eyes: Blue
    Price: $9,000
Main trait: Pink aura in sunlight.

Lilac tri bulldogs sell for showstopping amounts, up to $9,000, when the breeder gets the color just right. They don’t look like any other breed. Their coat is base chocolate, which means that a lilac tri can have more or less brown coloring. However, a blue gene lightens the coat into a lighter champagne color that gives the lilac tri its unique look. Icy, aqua blue eyes add to the rarity, as do a potential assortment of random, cute tan points all over.

Due to the lilac tri being a base black dog diluted by two genes (brown and then blue), their shiny coat can have a unique color hiding in there. Depending on the light, lilac tri dogs can shine slightly pink or green because of this unique heritage.
