The highly critical report is just the latest scandal to hit crisis-prone Met commissioner Cressida **** (right), and makes particularly chilling reading in light of the murder of Sarah Everard by serving Met officer Wayne Couzens - who himself was allegedly nicknamed as 'the rapist'. Homophobic language was also used, including one text that said 'f*** you bender', in addition to a mass of racist comments which included references to African children, Somali people and Auschwitz. The messages were uncovered as part of nine linked investigations into officers based in Westminster, mostly at Charing Cross police station (left), that began in March 2018 after allegations that an officer had sex with a drunk person at a police station.

Dark humour and in this case, rather darker than that is not something that's nice to read, at least for myself.
If any of the Police have done anything wrong then they should be held to account of course.
There are whistleblowers out there, some ex-cops and reformed individuals giving their insight to Police corruption, not handling cases properly and the "Blue Code". Loads of good alternative media out there. These types of articles can be a drain.
A lot of the news these days seems to focus on appealing to the emotions of the public which must help with clicks.
