Stoke value for money

I took my son to Waterworld in Stoke yesterday
Burger, chips and a small drink
£7.95
I wasn’t sure about the quality of the burger and raised this with the general manager
I was wrong though. It was fine apparently. Here’s what he said

“The burger looks fresh and hot, with the cheese slice having melted into the bun, and the lettuce can been seen underneath, so I’m really sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy it. With the chips and a drink included, I think it represents good value for money.”

    They really don't care. I've been going since 1990 and I think that very burger was in the freezer back then, probably a Fine Fare 2 shilling a dozen job lot.

    Most of the locals tend to wait until they've finished at Waterworld and then go to MacD's, KFC, or Pizza Hut all on Festival Park.

    Stoke has a poor reputation as it is, it's a shame attractions like this merely confirm the bad impressions.

    There was a hideously painted one in Newcastle Under Lyme. You could see it from miles away.

    Hope you paid, it looks scrumptious ;)
    There's a really good pub/carvery just round the corner from waterworld you'd miss it if you don't know it's there
    Love the six finger reference my kids used to say things like that when they were young

    Not sure why they did that. Wasn't their branding all yellow based? I'm sure it was.

    It would have been a Planning Permission thing I'd suggest. Fine Fare would only have been a Tenant, not the owner.

    Wow that's a bit harsh we've had worse than him. Wilson Palacios anyone, Lethal Kieth Scott, Paul Sh1tson Kitson, Joselu, Bennik Afobe, and the beat goes on.

    He's been harsh about Kitson , Afobe and Josulu even though they were all rubbish while with us nobody has been as bad a signing than Wimmer in the last 15 years , 15 million wasted on a unprofessional waster 18 games he played on a 5 year contract which got paid up last summer
