i have never posted a hand history before.

i want to know if i made the correct decision folding.

i should also add that i ended up winning this £1.10p Turbo DYM but if i had not folded this hand and not hit my card on the river then i would have been eliminated in 6th place.

Think that folding here is correct. Personally, I don't like the flop call, you either need to jam here or let it go. Villain either has the better hand/draw or not, calling doesn't really give us a turn that changes that.

If you were more of a gambler, then I agree with Mark @TheEdge949 , either Jam or let it go.

The fact that you WON, means that it was the right decision. Remember you only have to finish in Top 3. :)

I'm sure more proficient TDYM players will help with their thoughts.......

The correct theoretical play will be to shove preflop as players are supposed to call very tight in DYM's and our hand does okay when called. In a £1.10 DYM people are going to be gambling it up too wide and playing too passively so I think limp is good.

I would fold flop. Usually when people start potting here they continue firing on turns, so often you only get to see one more card, in which you make your flush 18% of the time. Chip preservation is too important in DYM's. You want to be the first aggressor where you can and be tight when facing aggression. Turn fold is correct as played.

Pre-flop I think all options are viable.

The rest is exactly as @FeelGroggy says.

It is an interesting spot in an MTT. But pretty standard fold in a DYM post-flop. Fold is better than shove is better than call.
