Who won what, Monday 7th February - punk wins Marksman Main

Morning.

Fairly quiet day all round yesterday for MTT's & the Forum, though the cash & DYM tables were busy all day thanks to the Sky Poker Premiership promo.

In football, Thomas Tuchel, despite only working here for 5 minutes, has been very vocal of fixture congestion generally, & the Premier League in particular. And yet where are Chelsea this week? They are over in the United Arab Emirates, playing the Club World Championship. Actually, the correct title is "FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021 presented by Alibaba Cloud". Sponsorship, see?

What other teams are contesting it? Well there's such world-renowned teams as Al Hilal, Al Ahly, Al Jazira, Monterrey, Palmeiras, & of course AS Pirae. AS Pirae? Yup, the champions of Tahiti.

Chelsea play their semi-final on Wednesday. Could they throw it, so that they can get back home more quickly? That won't work, there's one of those ridiculous third place play-offs on Saturday.

The greed of football knows no bounds. Eventually, the money will run dry, & football will have ended up eating itself.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,176)

    The alias of ughx3000cx is a bit of a mouthful, but he does very nicely, with a 50% ROI over a 7,000 game sample. Took last night's 7 @ 7, & has twice been runner-up in MidEx in the last week.

    The runner-up's alias sounds remarkably like a London telephone number.

    Natnug was 3rd, but despite playing a full schedule, this was his only FT.

    goldnballz was 4th for £54, he only played a small schedule, so that was probably enough to add a few quid to his ever growing mountain of cash.

    £6,000 Marksman Bounty Hunter (£6,210)

    StayOrGo returned to winning form in taking Marksman Main, his only other win this year being a Quickdraw. To be fair, has not put much 2022 volume in so far, perhaps because he plays a range of sites & has a hectic life away from poker. Hopefully, we'll see him at SPT Brighton next month.

    £1,500 Mini Marksman (£1,500)

    Mini winner Dermste is blocked on Sharky, maybe he is shy, so we won't discuss him.

    In 5th was aynaricol, and later she won a post-Midnight £300 BH. On Saturday/Sunday she was 3rd in Midex, & later on Sunday she won 7 @ 7. Her Sharky graph gets ever more vertical.

    Just missing the FT in 8th was the obsequious Drudkh.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,520)

    Bad news for MTT regulars as it seems JScorgie is returning to form, won Mega & was 3rd in Turbo.

    By the standards of a Mega, an exceptionally tough FT, the top 5 are all formidable opponents.

    @NOSTRI was 6th.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,700)

    clarke996 goes from strength to strength, his last 4 attempts at Sheriff - all in the last 6 days - have resulted in finishing 1st, 6th, 4th & 1st. Also won last Wednesday's Predator Main. Look back a little further to pre-Xmas & he won a Sunday Major & a UKOPS HR in a 6 week period for a combined £9,600. Printing.

    In 4th was Drewett, who won a nice little MTT elsewhere last night, with tonyp142 in 5th, & a penniless Mr Channing in 6th.

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,230)

    Groggs has returned to the MTT streets, perhaps as part of his Sky Poker Prem challenge. He chopped the Week 1 Premier League & was awarded £875 yesterday, then ran 6th in the Main, 1st in Turbo & 2nd in Quickdraw. So not a bad day, plus I shudder to think how much he earned in Sky Poker Rewards last week. Must have more money than Palace Bloke. 3rd was Mega winner Jscorgie, & sandwiched between them was the vitriolic end-boss janechrist.

    @FeelGroggy 205000 1 £246 + £144.61 Head Prizes 4

    This day last year...

    @loosecamel was going well, and his Main event FT was his 18th of 2021 even though it was still only early February.
