So recently my Girlfriend had an urgent medical appointment they had been suffering for some time and really needed this appointment. I cant say what for because private and etc but anyway she booked a taxi for 8.30am to allow plenty of time to get there and told the taxi firm that It was for an urgent medical appointment. She booked the night before. The taxi firm did not give the job out the taxi did not show and my girlfriend almost missed her appointment if she had of done she could of had to wait months for a new appointment. Fortunately they were still able to see her despite her been late.
This taxi firm have a simple business philosophy of "F*** You, We do not give a S***)" They literally just do not care and if you ring up to complain often their system wont let you speak to a human being but when you can get someone there response is always they flat out refuse to help often with line "ok so what exactly do you expect me to do about it" if you ask for some form of compensation EG a discount of next ride or a voucher they would flat out refuse if you simply request an apology they will refuse. If you ask to speak to a manager they will refuse if you email them they will ignore you.
For some reason despite having less then 2 stars on every single review platform they remain the dominant taxi firm in my area.
had my girlfriend lost her appointment and they given me their usual ****, I was ready to print of a load of fliers pointing out how bad their firm is with numerous reviews on the fliers and advising people to go to another firm with the other firms mentioned by name etc. Then spend hundreds of hours posting the fliers through letterboxes all around my area.
Fortunately my girlfriend still was able to be seen, Saving me potentially thousands of pounds worth of labour time posting fliers.
However on holiday in America I noticed that negative advertising was a thing ads would show up on TV saying how bad a company was, I heard it on radios in taxis over there. I would assume fliers would also come through letterboxes but since I was staying in hotels or holiday lets I did not see any of these so cannot be sure.
I have never noticed this over here so I assume in the UK negative advertising may be illegal? is it?

Hope the g/f is ok mate
I hope she is to thankyou for your concern, I guess we will just have to give it time and see if the new medication improves things.
In regards to the "negative advertising" in the way you describe I have no idea on what the law is there.
