'Are we too lazy to even walk now?' US family of five who were spotted riding through an airport on $500 'SEGWAY HOVERSHOES' are brutally mocked

A woman named Jamie saw the family making their way through the airport on the 'electric roller skates,' and took a video - which she uploaded to TikTok. The family was later identified as the Petersons - an American Bluegrass family band from Missouri, made up of parents Karen and Jon and their four kids. They each each wore a pair of Ninebot by Segway Drift W1 Electric Roller Skates Hovershoes - which sell for $470 each on Amazon - as they headed to their gate for a flight. The family is being ridiculed for their choice of transportation - with some calling it 'humiliating' and 'ridiculous' that they didn't walk through the airport on foot.
