Just watched this on Sky Documentaries,it's a fascinating and unbelievable 3 part series. If it wasn't a true story you would think it's fiction how one man could rise to the heights and the situations he found himself in. Amongst his life events included were Suddam Hussein,Ronnie Biggs,Harold Shipman. As well as buying MGM Film Studios,appearing on Opportunity Knocks,having a date with Suzi Quatro,being an MI6 undercover agent & his father being murdered by the British Government. It really is a fascinating watch.

The "mostly true" story of Giovanni di Stefano needs to be seen to be believed but no mention of Dundee and Fabrizio Ravanelli is baffling.

It says it all about the extraordinary life of Giovanni di Stefano that he can be the subject of nearly three hours of prime-time television and such colourful tales as bringing Fabrizio Ravanelli to Dundee can be left on the cutting room floor.

I got round to watching the first Episode of this last night - what a story, what a character. Can't wait to watch Eps 2 & 3 tonight.
