Morning,
As I noted yesterday, I have some real0life stuff going down this week, so the Results Threads are a little rushed I'm afraid. Normal service should resume on Saturday.
After a couple of nights in which the Main missed it was good to see Traffic rebound last night, with the £6,000 Gold Rush making almost £7,000. Better.
In football, Manchester United limped over the line in uninspiring fashion to beat 10 man Brighton 2-0, with the second goal coming in the 97th minute. Meanwhile, Man City were in sparkling Champions League form, scoring 4 goals before half-time & adding another on the hour mark. The two Manchester teams are chalk & cheese.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,050)
7 @ 7 went to whitters, & it's ridiculous how well he is currently doing. Since 1st Jan alone has had 4 scores over £1,000, winning a BWBH, Hitman Main, & twice running 3rd in Sunday Major. If he's going to start farming £7.70 entry MTT's the rest are in trouble.3rd was Doublet158, & it occurred to me that I was not quite sure what a "doublet" was. google surprised me...
In English grammar and morphology, doublets are two distinct words derived from the same source but by different routes of transmission, such as poison and potion (both from the Latin potio, a drink). ...
Not sure what I thought the word meant, but it was certainly not that.

£6,000 Gold Rush (£6,930)
Gold Rush winner clarke996 first appeared in around 2017 & showed no form (from very light volume, admittedly) until last September, since when he's been rampant. Won a UKOPS for some £5,500, a Sunday Major, and no less than four Mains (2 x Predator, Avenger & Gold Rush). All that & plenty more from less than 500 MTT's. It must be wonderful to be so gifted.
2nd was PRHack, with Jaystac 3rd & Tedson 6th.

The first of two MTT's where the winner was responsible for more heads rolling than Charles-Henri Sanson.
In Mega, Danyo0 took 14 heads from the 60 strong field, which is around 23% of the field.
Beachbody, who won a 7 @ 7 last week, was 4th.

In the Heads department, this was even more impressive, with newdaddy taking 15 heads from the 49 entry field - 31% - but it's not that straightforward, as there were 15 "Rebuys" which complicates the maths somewhat. Whatever way you look at it, two impressive performances.
Crushy was 3rd, bakersdoze 4th, Ryan 5th & Mr Arrogant 6th.

Part 1 of a 30 minute Turbo/Quickdraw win double for FeelGroggy. And if that was not sufficiently impressive, he played around 300 (THREE HUNDRED) DYM's yesterday.
Tough Turbo it was too, with Palace Bloke, Monty, nslater, ValueJL & snoxx all on the FT.

AngelAngel seems to have appeared from out of the blue recently & has been taking Turbos & MidEx's galore, & took the latter again last night, as well as 3rd in Reload. I wonder if @janechrist sung to him again last night?

This day last year;
Quite a write-up for @IVIysticalThe real story here though was @IVIystical in 4th. He started playing poker last spring & just slowly lost money, but then he bagged a Freebie to SPT Online & ran deep, picking up almost £800, & repairing all the damage & more in one foul swoop. Since then he's been like a sponge absorbing information & he's showing real promise. At one point last night he was 122/122, an hour later he was the chippie. He's a serious gamer really, with his own You Tube Channel which has zillions of views, but gaming's loss is Poker's gain I fancy. He has a wonderful temperament & takes his beats like a proper grown up. Well done Sam, terrific result, & I'm sure there will be many more.
