Who won what, Saturday 19th February - NAPSTER takes the Main

Morning.

The usual Sunday brief run through today, and you can add to my usual litany of excuses that I've overlaid this morning so I'm a) running late, & b), grumpy.

In sport, the grudge match between Kahn & Brooks was stopped in Round 6 to save Kahn from further punishment, but not before those watching had been treated to a proper old-fashioned bash up.

And in football, it was no surprise to see Spurs beat Manchester City, as Conte is not a man who likes losing, & Spurs recent record has been bad. And it was Kane who did the damage - the man who City tried to sign, & who Kane quite clearly wanted to play for. Delicious irony.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£868)

    Congratulations to chewy1803, who marked his thread & Forum debut with a victory in 7 @ 7.

    2nd was DUTCHESS62, who has plenty of winning form, including in Mega, MidEX & a £2,000 BH. And it's a year to the very day since they won the now-defunct 7.30pm £1,000 BH

    £8,000 Sharpshooter (£8,000)

    A surprise win for NAPSTER163, playing just his 3rd MTT of 2022, though 70% of his volume is in DYM's & the like.

    JACKDAW seems to be on the upgrade & in one if his rare forays into Main Events he was a very fine 3rd.

    @HAYSIE looked like he had this in the bag, he had a big chip lead for much of the evening before things started to go wrong & he eventually finished 7th. He's OK though, he won the Sunday Major last week. He has an extraordinary ability to get under the skin of others without even realising he is doing it. Can't wait to see him at SPT Brighton, though that assumes he actually turns up at the right Casino, which is not a given, as he has form in that department.

    @NAPSTER163 2450000 1 £1161.69 + £472.54 Head Prizes 13

    @IronBlue 0 2 £693.30 + £130.95 Head Prizes 4

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,100)

    Mini winner rocket33r is another making his maiden appearance in these threads. Often plays Reload, but I'm not sure he's ever played the Mini before.

    In 4th was fffflipek, playing his first MTT of 2022, & only his 8th in 6 months. His alias begins with 4 "f"'s, which struck me as odd, but a quick peruse suggests he is just one of 30 or more players who have an alias that starts "ffff". What's that all about, is it code or something?

    bnana was doing well until he slipped up & finished 5th.

    @rocket33r 4200000 1 £262.50 + £81.36 Head Prizes 9

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,180)

    Palace Bloke took Mega, & you know all about him. Actually, can anyone of you guess what sort of day job he has? I was quite surprised when I found out.

    In 5th was MAXALLY, who only played 3 MTT's & made a decent profit on the session as the other two were only £5.50 affairs. Probably logged on late after watching Stoke City being held to a draw at home by Birmingham, which would have displeased him somewhat. Having said that, he got the Daily Forum Comp bang to rights, selecting Spurs at 10/1 & 5 goals @ 13/2. Hopefully he'll be in the prizes this week.

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,550)

    scotty77 ran 2nd in Sheriff a week ago, but got the win last night. Has been doing rather will in MidEx recently, with 4 FT's including a win.

    3rd was SwannLol, with Palace Bloke missing out on prize money in 6th but collecting 2 bounties.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,533)

    WILL7B7 books his first win since taking MidEx last June, though it's not his first Reload Final.

    In 2nd was the very busy snoxx11, making his eighth featured MTT final this month, which includes a Turbo victory last week.

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,170)

    Dooobs ended 2021 with a UKOPS HR win worth some £5,500. Not hit those giddy heights so far this year, but has now won three different events - Sheriff, Quickdraw & now Turbo.

    2nd was 1267, who went on to finish 6th in Quickdraw.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,240)

    Sellaz appears to be new to Sky Poker, playing just 7 MTT's, the first of which were on Friday, so this was a great start, especially as he had to beat a field of real heavy hitters - Mr Arrogant in 2nd, scotty 43rd, TIMBER 4th & Crushy 5th. Keep an eye on Crushy, he's enduring a bit of a bad run, but he'll soon be back amongst the winners.

    @Sellaz 156000 1 £229.40 + £230.45 Head Prizes 5

    @Arrogant 0 2 £155 + £183.28 Head Prizes 9

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,400)

    How very appropriate that midnightma won Midnight Express. Took Mega at the end of January too.

    Making his 3rd MidEx FT of the month was AngelAngel, with 1st, 2nd & now 6th place finishes.
