Who won what, Monday 21st February - Marksman goes to a _Smoothe_ operator

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,805

Morning.

An oddity about last night's MTT's is that the Main came in exactly on the guarantee - not a penny more, not a penny less, as Jeffrey Archer famously wrote.

Sport? It's that time of year when we can look forward to so much. The F1 season starts in less than a month, Moto GP starts next week, The Masters is only around 6 weeks away, & Cheltenham starts 3 weeks today. Sport, don't you just love it?

    £6,000 Marksman Bounty Hunter (£6,000)

    _Smoothe_, who has no less than 3 Hitman Mains to his credit, took Marksman. Think we should pay tribute with a lovely & very fitting bit of music which was a recent hit.

    2nd was Tessellate who has an ABI of around £75, which must be near the top of the Sky Poker range. Does very nicely though, won the Major two weeks running in 2020, & took down a Summit last month.

    In 6th was spearsy136, who was in a a Free Entry after winning MML, so it was all gravy.

    aynaricol finished 7th, & if she had won, it would have likely been her biggest ever cash, or close to it, as she banked around £1,100 when winning an Xmas UKOPS Mini.

    @_Smoothe_ 1000000 1 £817.50 + £234.46 Head Prizes 6

    @Tessellate 0 2 £490.50 + £240.12 Head Prizes 9

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,420)

    Two of the Sky Poker MTT surprise packages of 2022 featured here, with bakersdoze taking the top spot. Made a shed load of FT's this year, but not too many wins.

    In 6th was podraic who has had a terrific last 5 days - 3rd in Avenger Main, 3rd in Sunday's £6k BH, 3rd & 6th in Mega, 3rd in Turbo. That's a whole lot of bronze medals in a 5 day stretch.

    @bakersdoze 710000 1 £205.90 + £152.73 Head Prizes 8

    @AFFMAHEED 0 2 £134.90 + £59.42 Head Prizes 5

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,750)

    JScorgie, who finished 2021 in such spectacular style when winning two UKOPS on 29th December, took Sheriff, the 2nd time he has done so this year.

    He's still got to go some to catch runner-up Palace Bloke though, he's won Sheriff FIVE times already in 2021. The drinks are on him at SPT Brighton.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,821)

    AFFMAHEED - who I think we can safely assume is a Scot? - had a good night, 2nd in Mega & 1st in Reload.

    Very appropriately considering today's date, Anytwouk was 3rd, with Mr Goose in 4th.

    Sellaz, who it looks like only joined Sky Poker on Friday, & then won Saturday's Quickdraw, was 7th.

    @AFFMAHEED 1667000 1 £244.56 + £71.11 Head Prizes 6

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,140)

    Crushy has been running real bad lately, & it was confirmed last night when he could only run 2nd to none other than Mr Channing. Now that IS run-bad. Nice win for Neil though. and a few more bob in the kitty for Cheltenham, which starts 3 weeks today.

    Edit - I now gather Crushy won nearly $6,000 over at Party last night. We'd all like to run that bad.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,000)

    wemjay is more usually seen on PLO8 Tables, but seems handy enough at NLH too as was winning Quickdraw for the 2nd time since October. Beat a really tough FT too, look at that bunch of bruisers.

    I don't like to ever post about how I'm doing and I rarely take much notice of bad beats or good runs. On Monday though I did say in passing to my partner that I really was losing a lot of show downs in the last few weeks and although I wasn't sure I was playing very well I did think I was running bad.

    Anybody who saw me in that turbo last night will now be totally convinced the whole thing is rigged.

    To the half a dozen people who I beat when you went in so far ahead all I can say is...

    "I feel your pain".
