There is, it's old software from what I am lead to believe. There is a certain 'charm' about the software and there is a community, that likely keeps some of us playing.

Sky will never be on the podium on the Software stakes ;)

Yeah I know I have been a bit silly in some of my replies to you on here, but I can put an actual serious reply to this one.

Yes sky poker software has been an issue for a very long time. Many people have complained multiple times. updates and improvements have been promised but years later the same issues keep popping up.

If you contact support they ask for your details and if you mistype anything slightly eg if your name is Steven Smith and they ask you but you accidently type Stevem Smith thats it they lock your account until you can provide passport evidence etc. Which makes you scared to ever contact customer support again.

Some regs refer to the charms of the site, and say if you dont like it play somewhere else.

Well sky definitely has its pluses I like the community and sometimes been silly in the chat or on forum posts. However mostly I like the low variance I remain up on money on all but two poker sites. On full tilt I was a fish but that was when I was a bad player and still learning etc. Unibet because of the software dont get me wrong I am not going to claim a rig or what not just when your multi tabling across mutliple sites and it hides tables under other tables and does not make noises so you end up not seeing a few tables and blinding out its hard to recover from that on win rates. Just most poker sites variance is a big deal and can be quite some swings but sky seems pretty stable which is why I like it. That is just down to the small fields. I guess if sky poker improved they might get a larger player base and then their variance will be the same as other sites.

My concern would be though that bad players who cry rig or suspect foul play suspect something more sinister when the software plays up and spread that word and it hurts the sky brand and stops us getting more casual players to profit from.
