Morning.
The usual brief Saturday run-through today.
After a couple of thin nights, traffic bounced back a treat last night with solid numbers right across the board. It was especially good to see BWBH & the £8,000 Main produce the numbers they did. This time last year numbers were ridiculously high, but that was largely due to Lockdown etc.
In sport, F1 pre-season testing continued yesterday, with many of the cars carrying aerodynamic rakes, which I think makes the cars look very sexy. First race of the season is in Bahrain (politics permitting) in three weeks time. Even better, Moto GP starts next week.

A pleasing start to the evening as HUGHMANS takes 7 @ 7. Probably his best result since he was 3rd in Gold Rush Main in September. Has been with Sky Poker 14 years or more & plays a decent amount of cash, or used to.

By any standards, Groggs had a spectacular night, & BWBH was the first of a hat-trick of wins, as he took Quickdraw & MidEx too. In fact he so nearly made it a 4-timer, as he was 2nd in the Mini. Can't imagine anyone will begrudge him the glory, as I don't think I ever recall anyone saying a bad word about him & even the serial naysayers respect him. Ruthless at the table though, and I bear the scars to prove it, from a nasty do at SPT Brighton a few years ago. Meh.

£8,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£9,100)
Trellis was a surprise winner of Avenger Main, & be assured I mean no a fence by that. Apart from playing this event last Friday, has not been spotted in MTT's here since the balmy days of last June.
In 4th was scotty77 who had a wonderful night, as we shall shortly see.
Doooobsy was 6th, playing his first session since last Saturday, when he won the Turbo.

£4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£4,695)
The two stars of the night went Heads Up here, with Groggy, who we already discussed, only managing 2nd to scotty77, who was not far behind overall. scotty was 4th in the Main & first here, so that alone earned him £750 from the FTJ. In total, scotty was 4th in the Main, 1st in the Mini, 2nd in Sheriff & 2nd again in Quickdraw. That's a stunning night by any standards, and were it not for the Groggy hat-trick he'd be player of the day. Well done Ryan, good to see you've still got it after all these years. Has played close to 50,000 MTT's here, which is quite some going.
Good effort in 5th by Doubleme, who I'm pleased to say we are seeing more & more of on the Forum. He gets more than his fair share of trolling but seems to ride above it, wp him.
In 8th was Toffeeandy, who was a bit bruised when his K-K was turned over by Groggy's A-6 which 4 flushed, and he'll likely be even more bruised after Everton play Man City later today. Character building.
bbMike was 9th & collected just shy of £70, which is handy enough.

Hod4k997 took Mega for the 2nd time in less than 3 months, and don't forget that he won Avenger Main this time last month for around £1,700.
In 3rd was UnEuropean, with StayOrGo a spot behind.

£1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,850)
Another pleasing result as Mr Bromley took Sheriff. Would have been a fun FT, as he knows two of the other finalists irl from SPT's & Viva Las Vegas trips - scotty in 2nd & Mr Channing in 4th. Well done Adam, & xx to Natterley.
3rd was PRhack93, off the back of an excellent Thursday when he won 7 @ 7 & was 3rd in the Main.

On a night of pleasing results here's another as GREGSTER takes Reload. Won Quickdraw 5th February, so he's had a decent month.

Topdogfish took Turbo for the 2nd time in 4 weeks. Has a really decent CV, as has also recorded victories in Sharpshooter & Marksman Mains, Mega, Turbo & 7 @ 7. Well on the way to completing his Featured MTT bingo card.
Runner-up WHO_IS_SHE triggers my OCD. Where's the question mark?

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,400)
Our two stars of the night clashed heads up again here. In the Mini, scotty was 1st with Groggs 2nd, & this time the positions were reversed. Pretty unusual for a duplicate 1-2 on the same evening. Even more surprising, this was only Leg 2 of the Groggy hat-trick.

£1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,500)
And there it is, leg 3 of the groggy hat-trick. And don't forget he's leading the Premier League at the moment, so that's another £1,000 heading his way on Monday barring a surprise. Guess who is buying the drinks at Brighton next month?

Happy Birthday
@waller02 is birthday boy today, (I think), so hope you have a great day with the wife & kids Ryan.As 7 @ 7 winner @HUGHMANS enjoys a bit of quality music, I thought we'd bring back the music feature today.
No special reason for selecting this, except that it's one of the great all-time performances by an artiste who was off her head with alcohol & God knows what else at the time.
Here's Amy, with a Message to Rudy, at Glasto. Superb.

@waller02
Marv. Well it will have to do, I'm not doing it again tomorrow.
@Enut
I certainly agree with your second sentence.
