edited March 2022 in Poker Chat
Afternoon.

Numbers picked up a little last night, though that may have been because Everton were on TV, & let's face it, who wants to watch them?

In sport, sad news from Australia, with the passing of Rod Marsh. He was not only the best wicketkeeper of his era, he was a great sledger too.

The story goes that he said to Ian Botham....

"So how's your wife and my kids?"

Beefy was not to be outdone though & his comeback was....

'Wife is fine, kids are r******d.'

Those days are gone, perhaps just as well, but at that moment in time it was glorious.

    £5,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£5,400)

    comesee is the new Hitman champ. Always profitable, but this was his best score since winning a super-sized Mini Major during the boomlet in 2020.

    Swog is having a good 2022, has already won Mega, Sheriff & Turbo, & so nearly added a Main last night. Has been AWOL for 10 days until last night, so a decent return to the tables.

    bakersdoze began March with a Quickdraw trophy, & was 3rd here for a very similar sum. Won an SPT seat last night too.

    @comesee 900000 1 £742.50 + £304.45 Head Prizes 9

    @Swog 0 2 £448.20 + £103.06 Head Prizes 4

    £1,500 Mini Hitman (£1,600)

    The popular & likeable hhammerhea won his 2nd Mini in three weeks. Bit of a boss at stakes up to around £5 & he has an outrageous 48% ROI on Sharky over a 6,000+ sample size. That's seriously good. Those with keen eyes will notice that he won a Sheriff in December, & you may wonder what he was doing in a £55 event. That's another story for another day, and for him to tell, not me, but it really was quite the story.

    Just 48 hours after winning Summit, Middz68 was runner-up, & as he ran 8th in the Main, was within touching distance of FTJ money.

    MAGPIETYKE was 5th, almost exactly (almost exactly?) a month since he won a Mini Predator.

    @hhammerhea 640000 1 £208 + £37.62 Head Prizes 5

    @Middz68 0 2 £120 + £26.23 Head Prizes 6

    @IMAF1SH 0 3 £72.80 + £19.90 Head Prizes 4

    @daves5427 0 4 £58.40 + £23.81 Head Prizes 5

    @MAGPIETYKE 0 5 £49.60 + £33.56 Head Prizes 10

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,020)

    GREGSTER is another with an excelent ROI, & he had a nice win double, Mega and then the 9pm £200 Freezeout. He finalled it the previous night too (3rd), and won Saturday's Reload. Playing at the top of his form right now.

    In 3rd was bbMike, who loks after FTT these days.

    Shrimpy the Bottler/Bridesmaid was 6th, but failed to take any bounties. Decent night though, as he later ran 2nd in a £500 BH & 4th in MidEx, so he made a few bob on the session.

    @GREGSTER 510000 1 £188.70 + £134.74 Head Prizes 7

    @BOBBYJ55 0 2 £112.20 + £7.50 Head Prizes 1

    @bbMike 0 3 £76.50 + £15 Head Prizes 2

    @Jscorgie 0 4 £56.10 + £70.09 Head Prizes 5

    @Monty15 0 5 £40.80 + £51.56 Head Prizes 6

    £1,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    Sellaz continues to impress, & took Sheriff for the 2nd time in 4 nights. Won a Quickdraw last month too. Only 230 MTT's on his CV but three 1st places already.

    PKRPar was 2nd, and despite regging very late took 7 head prizes, almost a third of the total entries. He then followed up with 3rd in Midex. Won a Sharpshooter Main in January too.

    Another tough Sherriff final, despite a small field, with whitters, fishhhhh, scotty77 & Mr Channing all there or thereabouts.

    @Sellaz 130000 1 £314.50 + £151.94 Head Prizes 2

    @PKRPar 0 2 £212.50 + £169.92 Head Prizes 7

    @whitters95 0 3 £127.50 + £70.32 Head Prizes 3

    @NChanning 0 6 £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,260)

    Fairly low profile, but Danny2309 has a terrific CV, including several Sheriffs, Turbo, MidEx, and best of all a big UKOPS a few years ago.

    @Danny2309 210000 1 £252 + £175.42 Head Prizes 6

    @chrismoll 0 2 £157.50 + £37.27 Head Prizes 2

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,560)

    AlexaAJ enjoys a Sharky rating of 90 but is fairly thin on volume lately. This was their best score since 2nd in a BWBH for around £1,200 a month ago.

    2nd was malone02, who won Tuesday's Gold Rush. Around 90% of his volume seems to be at HU games.

    Fresh from a really good night on Wednesday, StayOrGo was 3rd.

    comesee completed an excellent session with 4th, having already won the Main & finished 2nd, 3rd & 3rd in mid-afternoon Bounty Hunters. 5 FT's including a Main win is a great session by any standards.

    @AlexaAJ 198000 1 £273 + £351.55 Head Prizes 11

    @malone02 0 2 £171.60 + £67.50 Head Prizes 5

    @StayOrGo 0 3 £117 + £54.84 Head Prizes 3

    @comesee 0 4 £85.80 + £84.38 Head Prizes 6

    @Bhands 0 5 £70.20 + £30 Head Prizes 2

    @chrismoll 0 6 £62.40 + £15 Head Prizes 1

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,240)

    smirnoff95 has won MidEx more times than enough, & did well here to hold off a strong FT that included Swog, PKRPar, Shrimpy (all of whom made 2 or more FT's last night) & GELDY.

    @smirnoff65 186000 1 £186 + £131.30 Head Prizes 6

    @Swog 0 2 £124 + £51.10 Head Prizes 5

    @PKRPar 0 3 £74.40 + £102.90 Head Prizes 9

    @Shrimpy28 0 4 £62 + £67.97 Head Prizes 8

    @GELDY 0 5 £49.60 + £22.50 Head Prizes 3

    SPT Brighton Semi

    Bumpys got in via a £10.50 satellite. Not quite sure how he finished 1st as with 5 left thtkidtom had more chips than the other 4 combined, but as it was a satellite he probably - & wisely - shut down once he had the seat locked. Pleased to see bakersdoze qualify, as I'd like to meet him.

    @Bumpys 14920 1 SPT Brighton Seat

    @thtkidtom 10935 2 SPT Brighton Seat

    @bakersdoze 4145 3 SPT Brighton Seat
