A lengthy report today, so best press on.
A decent Friday night for traffic - not great, but certainly acceptable. It was particularly pleasing to see Sheriff, which has had a bad few days - bounce back to over £2,000, & the £1,000 Quickdraw came in at over £2,000.
In sport, well what can you say about Shane Warne? Such a shock. A really sad 24 hours for Australian cricket, as Rod Marsh passed away just a day earlier.

We don't see @Essexphil in the 7 @ 7 too often, but he played a short session last night & that worked out nicely as he won it. Rumour also reaches me - thank you @giesahaun - that Phil achieved the remarkable feat of being runner-up in the Sunday Major freeroll on consecutive nights this week - Wednesday & Thursday. He's been a major component in the recent uptick of forum traffic & quality of debate too. Top bloke.
spearsy, returning from a few days MIA, was 2nd, & also won himself a seat in BWBH via a £2.20 satellite.

Tedson had his first big Sky Poker result of 2022, though worth noting he only turns up for the big stuff so his volume is very thin. Won just about every big one going last year, including over £6,000 in a UKOPS High Roller in November.The table was, as you'd expect, full of familiar names, with the exception being a terrific effort by theloft laddering into 4th. His previous 5 games, over a 6 week period, have all been £5 & £10 stuff, so this was quite a step up in class.

I looked in a few times early doors & @MAXALLY was chip leader each time & I thought he might come up with a big result, but the next time I checked he had disappeared, busted by Crushy I believe. Not much harm done though, he was in for just £3 from a satellite.

I'm a big fan of goldnballz but on this occasion he was a bit of a party pooper. Mr Bates had mounted an astonishing comeback, he had ONE FIFTH of a Big Blind at 125-250 with 3 or 4 tables left but somehow recovered & when it got Heads Up he became chippie for a while. goldnluckbox had to spoil it though & eventually won, his 2nd win of the night as he won the Orfordable too. And he's sitting 2nd in the Daily Forum Comp table after an astonishing double on Thursday.
A real shame for @MattBates as he has a lot of fans who were rooting for him to complete that miraculous comeback. Did goldnballz care what the fans wanted? Not a bit. Ruthless & heartless. Boo.

Last night saw the first Eliminator Freeroll & we had a great winner in Jeni82. I was quite surprised to see Jeni82 has played over 200 Heads Up games this year already, so maybe that came in handy here. Great result, & a popular one.

Oh my, a MONSTA day for @Shrimpy28 & I doubt he's had a better day since. Meanwhile, today his young son scored a goal in an Under 10's game, & if he had to choose between that big night a year ago & watching his son score a goal this morning he'd snap your hand off for his son's goal. We saw a very rare - perhaps unique - double last night as @Doubleme won the 166 runner Sunday Major Freeroll, then snap followed up by winning the 691 runner Rewards Freeroll.Has that ever been achieved before, anyone know?
