Dream analysis
So I heard you can analyze your dreams for spiritual awareness/ psychological analysis.
Lets try the dream started of with me having 88 and min raising to 200 at blinds of 50/100. there was a large crowd and I was re raised. Suddenly I was like should I four bet yes I might four bet to 700. Now then I am wondering is how do we get here I mean someone min reraise me to 300 or etc but four betting to 700 in that spot just seems weird.
people were saying I shouldn't do it but I was going to do it anyway a spy was sent to spy on the Nazi Russians in the room below. I am not a saying the Russians are **** but they were in this dream. For some reason we sent a black guy down to spy he said there was always a way in and he could get in there and get the intel to know whether the four bet was a reckless move or not. I dont mean to focus on race but surely its a bad idea to send a black person as a spy into an area dominated by Nazi's this should be obvious.
but the guy never came back instead a 7 foot 8 Russian monster turned up I fled and debated calling 999 but was like na not sure if it an emergency or not I sneaked back and saw everyone had been killed by the 7 foot 8 guy. I am not sure if the proportions were correct but the dream said he was seven foot 8. he had killed everyone I fled running for my life. I realized when I had woken up and was more awake that the 7 foot 8 Nazi guy looked familiar my brain had taken Steven Adams. This is no criticism of Steven Adams he played a bad guy in my dreams this is nothing of his doing. plus he is 6 foot 11 not seven foot 8.
So what does all this dream mean?
possible interpretations.
1. dont four bet 88
This could be the message though sometimes shoving all in with 88 over a 3 bet is correct. Of course I do not know my stack size or effective stacks, what I do know is my four bet was not for all in. maybe 88 is a non all in four bet I dont know I have not done a lot of research into effective non all in four bets at deep stack heads up. I guess 88 is good to four bet deep stack heads up? I have not really played deep stack heads up. I mean if I wasn't deep stacked which is not clear from the dream then happy to get 88 all in anyway, but then why four bet none all in why not just jam?
2. Dont cheat at cards, I have never actually cheated at cards I dont know why I would have a message telling me not to because I have not had an intention to cheat. However asking others for advice during a live hand and sending spies to gather information on the opponent is cheating
3. The Russians are big and scary and are a much bigger threat then we realize could this be the message? I think if China team up with Russia we will lose world war three maybe this is what the dream is getting at?
4. maybe it is an anology of the game of poker so to speak that our world leaders play on the international stage with bluffs of nukes and etc. maybe it is implying the escalation is a risky move.
5. could the dream be speaking badly of Steven Adams

I did have a huge block of cheese for a snack before bed, I know they say cheese gives you nightmares etc but as far as I am aware this is just an old wifes tale and there is no confirmed science behind this?
Are you canvassing opinions of whether 88 is a 4b? Not sure and doubt it
Will add though in regards to sleep, sleep is key to many people's lives. I have it as priority number 1 - if sleep is routine and settled then my all-round health works better.
I have spoken to a good few people about their sleep the past couple of weeks or so. A few say they are not sleeping as well given the current world event.
Personal one this as it is affecting my son pretty badly. He is a bit of a worrier and may need to speak to a counsellor, I have tried to put him more at ease however may need to speak to someone outside the family. Not against the idea however I feel awful that my baby boy (he's 10 so not a baby) maybe can't be helped by his family and especially his mum and dad. We don't get on however are united in regards to the wee man.
Heard someone say a wee while ago that the kids are "traumatised" by these events. I can see why that was said, it's very sad and not something any kid should have to even consider. The whole situation is very sad and slightly despondent, do get angry too.
It's affected and triggered certain members of my fitness group and we are doing a 10k on the 10th April for Ukraine, so at least we are taking action. Will be involved and run the distance, running is something that I find very boring and mentally tasking. Much prefer playing sports however that is nothing compared to what is happening out there. Getting back to sleep for a moment on a personal level, sleep has been pretty bad since this started.

This is not a dig or a **** take but a genuine request out of concern. Some of your posts regarding your thoughts and fears about an escalation of events into a world catastrophe are actually quite raw and suggest that this is weighing perhaps a little too heavily on you.
If that's the case please speak to someone about it and how its affecting you. I know we banter and stuff but this is heartfelt buddy.

None of that is the case currently.
The only point when this does make a difference to my life is if a Nuke actually goes of. at that point I think I quit my job, but I will worry about that if or when it happens.
as time goes on though It is looking like there is less to worry about. The Ukrainians are fighting hard and giving Putin a real tough time. Ultimately I think Russia will win the war to assume anything else seems somewhat ambitious but With Russia taking heavy casualties and suffering economically I am not too sure if he will continue going for country after country. Had the Russians taken Ukraine within a week I would still be worried about them taking going after more countries.
However things are starting to look a lot more up, as some people have pointed out to me to, If Russia does win the War they need to continue to occupy the country with stiff resistance from the population thus they will need to keep a lot of military in Ukraine which limits there ability to advance.
However I think it would be more weird if I wasn't at all worried with a dictator conquering countries and threating to Nuke the world.
Guessing I maybe reaching, talking about the situation on the forum in the form of teddy bears helps to de-escalate the worry and turns the situation on it's head for you. There is something to be said about comedy and joking about these times.
Have not watched the news or read the newspapers and have not really for about 5 years or more now, maybe longer. The reason - it's quite depressing and effects my mental health. I did watch Sky News for about an hour though last night on the Ukr-Rus scenario. Did not learn very much however was not effected much by it.
Do think perhaps like you, that a comprise will be made and there will be no war just hard times. The papers and media are talking about and this headline showed they were talking things up "Putin goes nuclear". As far as I can tell he has not, that's the media hype job again and they have a bit of answer for too. In an ideal world the media would be independent and less bias on the whole.
