Just before Christmas, I was playing 2/4 cash table, 10 seater, on the button when I was dealt pocket aces. After what could best be described as some over enthusiatic raising and re-raising, the flop came down a,a,6, rainbow. There were 3 of us left in and I was wondering how to get paid when the first player to act pushed all-in (with 10,10), followed very quickly by the second player (with 9,4 off, I kid you not!). Happy days!
I had one early this morning, about 1.30 I think which may have influenced the play! Was on 2/4p 6 handed to start with and ended up just the 2 of us. A few hands earlier my opponent had taken a third of my stack with a large river bet which I had called. Anyway, I had Q 2 off on hte SB so called and was checked. Flop - Q Q 2 rainbow. Thinking how do I get my money back when he goes all in. I thinking, what has he got for a millisecond , and call. He had A J suited. Could have been a miss-click? As a result ended the night up!
