Morning.

I did say that today would be a "Lite" version only, as I'm heading down to Brighton shortly, but I have managed half a report before the clock caught up with me.

Some really pleasing results today, some of which I've managed to cover.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter @ 1830 (£1,060)

    Well here's a nice surprise as @NOSTRI takes this. Ranks 4th in his 2022 results, behind wins in Turbo (just 4 days earlier), Reload, & Sheriff runner-up. He'll be making the trip south to Brighton tomorrow, so if anyone wants to nip him for a few bob, get in quick. Really nice result Mr Briefcase Walker. Was 6th in Reload too. Who'd have thought? Good to see the pee-ons get the occasional result.

    Solid score for livwiz too, their best result since 2nd in a big Quickdraw in January of last year.

    In 6th was @Humphrey43 who we will return to later.

    @NOSTRI 424000 1 £142.36 + £57.38 Head Prizes 7

    @livwiz14 0 2 £84.96 + £37.54 Head Prizes 12

    Until last night, the best result in 2022 for drybrook44 was last month when 5th in a Mini Marksman won by Natnug. A 7 @ 7 win changes all that.

    In 3rd was skyflyer, who had a banging night, which we will look at later in the report if time permits.

    £1,000 Rebuy B/Hunter @ 1910 (£1,380)

    The spectacular turn-around in results by CU180 continues. Yesterday I noted that he had won 6 MTT's in the last few days, and he added another 3 wins yesterday - a £100 Timed (£85), a £2-- BH (£112) & the £1k Rebuy BH (£293). After being a losing player for his first 9 months here he is now nicely into profit. Sensational stuff, well done CU.

    FORDAKIDZ, a good mate of mine, has twice finished just outside FT's recently, so I know he'll be chuffed to bits to run 5th here.

    £400 Bounty Hunter @ 20.00 (£452)

    Big shout-out to sheila1960, having finished 2nd in this the previous night, went one better last night. Is that such a big deal in a £400 BH? Well that depends on context. The ABI of sheila is £0.87 & they only seem to play Freerolls & £2 MTT's, and those 2 results combined were worth £145. So yes, it looks a big deal to me. Congrats sheila.

    Another big result in context was Humphrey43 in 3rd, as well as 6th in the £1,000 BH. Later in the evening he was 2nd in a £150 BH too. You may be aware he is doing a Forum Diary, & he wrote this;

    But it was a very very successful day and one of the most enjoyable I've had in a long time

    It very much reminded me of my early says in poker, both Live & Online, & the surges of excitement I got from good results. I'd love to start that journey again. One day I may bore you all to death & tell you the story of my poker journey.

    £5,000 Predator Bounty Hunter (£5,220)

    These are the stories I love. BULLAA, with no significant previous form, won their seat in a £7.20 Late Reg satellite & went on to win the Main & go home with not far short of £1,000 burning a hole in their pocket. Love these stories. Well done BULLAA.

    trip10s set his sights on 1st but came up just shy.

    In 5th was PKRPar, who was later 3rd in Mega. I'm very much hoping I'll get to meet the great man this weekend.

    3 in 4 days-how well do I run?

    Sorry to the guy I sucked out on-twice-with underpairs.

    3rd seat means playing Friday, as well as Saturday-managed to book a hotel for 2 nights cheaper than the 1 night price the day before-that's how well I run ;)

    Really looking forward to Brighton. Not as much as dreaming of Vegas, mind...

    PS-"articulated"? Ashamed? Or proud? Or both?

    I was going to post in praise of the articulated pun but see that @Essexphil beat me to it, it was definitely one of the Tikay specials though.

    It's lovely and sunny down here on the south coast at the moment and looks like it's going to be a wonderful weekend. All those that are playing the SPT have a brilliant weekend and don't forget to get a bit of sun too.

    I shall be driving past Brighton twice on Sunday on the way to and from my mum's as it's Mother's Day. I won't get the time to pop in to the Casino as we have step daughter coming over in the evening as well. It's a shame really as I would have loved to spend a little time railing some of my virtual poker friends but that's life, I shall be glued to Tikay's updates when I can.

    Thanks for the lovely words as per usual! Absolutely gutted to miss out this weekend and will be living through you lot vicariously this weekend soaking as much media as I can. I said to myself, after my year last year, I wouldn't miss an SPT and to have to miss one this early on through things out of my control really, really sucks. Safe travels to all traveling down and have a blast!

    I will 100% be at Glasgow and any future events, life permitting!

    See you on the mini tables everyone.
