Really hoping this happens but I know it is unlikely

I like sports where it is war on the court proper grudge match. Since my girlfriend hates the nets and loves the bucks I want an intense sporting moment for her. the last game they played was absolutely perfect in every day, a controversial referee decision over time and last seconds win in overtime. I want her to be happy and get the result but I want to see her passionately engaged and having a sweat over it.

I want the bucks vs the nets as a play off series and I want it to go 4-3 to the bucks with double or even tripple overtime in game 7 with Giannis winning the game in the final seconds.

    This just isnt going the way its supposed to. If the nets lose this one then they likely get 8th seed which means they risk been eliminated by whoever is top which likely wont be bucks and hence the only way they get bucks is if it gets to easten conference finals.

    Of course my girlfriend who hates the nets is watching and grinning from ear to ear watching the knicks somehow looking like they could get a shock win against the nets.

    after the bucks intense game last night they won and now it looks very likely that the bucks will finish second in the conference. It also looks highly likely that the nets will finish 7th and win their playin tournament thingy.

    Which effectively means It looks very likely that the Bucks vs Nets playoff series will happen. I am starting to get the be careful what you wish for vibe. I want my girlfriend to go through intense passion as the games wage but I dont want her to be devastated if the Nets win which she would be. ]

    Also Kevin Durant is a scum bully player who really should be called out much more for it. The nets are a team that really only someone from Brooklyn could actually root for.

    Well My girlfriend is devastated to see the nets win the playin tournament and go through to the playoffs. She hates the nets and believes they cheat and now believes they will win the title by cheating.

    To be clear Kevin Durant is a very dirty player and a bully but I dont see the nets winning a title. They have a very difficult route probably the most difficult route to the finals they could have all with not having the home court advantage at any point.

    If the Nets get past the Celtics they will play the winner of the Bucks vs Bulls.

    I can see the nets destroying the bulls, but the Bucks will likely take the nets out. Especially since the bucks will have home court advantage.

    I cannot see the Bulls beating the bucks so it looks like I will be getting the series I wanted soon.

    Just really got to hope the Bucks win it my girlfriend would be absolutely incandescent with rage if the nets knocked the Bucks out and I wont want to be around her if that happens. You know getting the cross fire of that etc.
