So, Paula placed a bet on the 'money back as cash if 2nd or 3rd' in the Aintree race today.
Her selection dead heated (before placings were revised) but she only got £4.77 back from her £5 bet - a dead heat deduction had been applied...
I know it's only 23p but how can she be worse off by dead-heating than if she had finished third!?
Baffling.

Hi Keith........ I did the same on Pied Piper but if you or Paula check the Advanced account history, you should see that the Promotional Bonus of your bet amount has been credited too ......so in effect you've actually WON more than you should have. SKYBET paid out on First past the Post, so a Dead Heat as well as returned the Bet Stake too........ Nice winner ALAN @MAXALLY .....Pint of GUINNESS please
There were two ways this could have gone.
Either settling it as a winner at half the stake, so £4.77 would have been correct, or they could have given your money back as it was demoted to second.
I have been given both, although I realise not every customer gets the same promotions and some can be targeted at certain customers.
Click the Bell icon at the top of the home page and it may tell you that Paula has got the same.

Note especially;
Pied Piper will be paid on dead heat terms and fully refunded with Brazil & Impulsive One as our MBAC
👍 Qualifying accounts are credited, bets will show as losers but cash added to balances!
Turns out she didn't check her account properly
