Fury as Wizz Air CHARGES Ukrainian refugees for luggage: Family of four forced to pay £110 for bringing two suitcases with them on free flight escaping warzone for UK
Agnese Edmonds, who is now housing the family of four, said they were asked to pay €130 (£108.49) for two suitcases when booking their tickets from Krakow, Poland to London Luton via Wizz Air.
Sounds familiar, nothing is free and when it is there is a bolt on somewhere in cases. Pardon that pun!
I am assuming the government, ie us as taxpayers paid for the flight, you would think that the airline could have waived the charges for suitcases under the circumstances.
What would have happened if they didnt have any, or access to any money, would the airline have forced them to leave their clothes behind?

Altruism would have been nice to see though.
