£1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,020)

Almost a year to the day since his last featured MTT win in the 7 @ 7, wilson47 surfaced to take the £1k BH. Was a very good evening for him, as later in the session he ran 2nd in Quickdraw for £220.

In 5th was FIGAROCLUB, a result which should make a newspaper headline in France.

6th was AFFMAHEED. I don't believe I've ever met this player (apologies if I have) but with an alias like that I'm quite sure I'd like them muchly. Been cashing for fun recently, & on Monday was 3rd in this, as well as binking a Sunday Major seat in the freeroll.

@wilson47 408000 1 £136.99 + £70.33 Head Prizes 14

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£931)

    Just 6 weeks after making his thread debut when winning Mega, BigBadJay notches a second win, 7 @ 7 this time. On which note, did you know that the collective noun for jays is "a band" although some prefer "jabber". Quite like "a jabber of jays". One of our prettiest birds, & surprisingly, are closely related to magpies.

    Another altogether more noisy bird gaggled his way into 4th, zzgoose.

    PS - sorry about all that bird talk, but I'm a bit of a bird fan.

    £1,000 Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,105)

    Natnug took this, & you know all about him, with utang in 2nd. That's about as close as we will ever get to a 1st & 2nd having aliases which are anagrams of each other. If only utang was nutang.

    A slight detour here whilst we are on the topic of interesting ("interesting"?) aliases or names. In an Irish Open Sidey in Dublin yesterday, there was a Norwegian player with the thoroughly splendid name of....

    Lars Hole

    Yes yes, very childish of me.

    3rd & 4th were Mr Bates & PRhack93, both very accomplished players, but again, you know all about them already.

    @Natnug 546000 1 £157.46 + £147.69 Head Prizes 14

    £5,000 Gold Rush (£5,000)

    Before we look at the result, a word about numbers last night. Champions League nights are always bad, & in that respect did not disappoint last night, with loads of featured MTT's missing. Fortunately, the bigger ones - Main, Summit etc - missed by insignificant amounts, but some of the smaller stuff later in the evening missed by a mile. There you go, something for everyone, no matter if their glass is half-full or half-empty. It is probably of no interest to poker players, but for a business like SB&G/Flutter, it's very much swings & roundabouts, as CL nights are exceptionally good for the Sports Betting products. So a bit of a hit on poker is nothing compared to the Sports Betting positives.

    Anyway, after a good night on Monday, Burger Bloke will have relished winning the Main.

    ozzie & Drewett were 2nd & 3rd, miniman 4th, a superb result for coo1-um in 5th, with bar4004 6th.

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,000)

    Bit of a turn-up here, as irunbetter had his best ever result in 12 years here. For context, has only played 170 MTT's so hardly prolific, but has been in fine form recently & in fact finalled 7 @ 7 two nights earlier. Until last night his best result was in a £1,000 BH in January 2013, which was won by @waller02

    In 5th was Dour Scot, who does not seem to win many, but makes plenty of FT's, with three more last night - Mini, MidEx & Turbo. I'm guessing he's been coached by @Shrimpy28.

    @irunbetter 3800000 1 £265.12 + £84.65 Head Prizes 14

    £5,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£5,000)

    RAKKKI seems to game select with great care and considering his slim volume does very well indeed. His last 9 MTT's have resulted in three wins - Sunday Major 27th March (£3,700), Mini Major 3rd April (£460) & now Summit (£1,560). That's a stunning strike rate.

    In 6th was the very much in-form B33CHY, who has won both Hitman Main & Sunday Major in the last 6 nights.

    @RAKKKI 235000 1 £1060 + £496.66 Head Prizes 4

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,500)

    Tilting has been here 12 years but his best two results were both in the last 5 months, 2nd in a Gold Rush Main in November, & 1st in last night's Reload, in which he punished The Glutton heads Up.

    £1,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£1,000)

    A third win in 24 hours for cabbaz - Monday's Quickdraw & MidEx, & now Turbo. In doing so, he denied Natnug a double, as he had won the £1k Rebuy BH earlier.

    Most of these finalists know each other, as the Swogster was 3rd, Crushy 4th & Dour Scot 5th.

    @cabbaz 140000 1 £290 + £136.65 Head Prizes 5

    SPT Vegas Quarter

    neely0y0 won a Vegas Micro early afternoon & converted it into a Semi Final seat. McLean1995 took a similar route, winning a £1.10 All-In Sat to get in the Quarter, then qualifying for Sunday's Semi.

    aynaricol joined Team Heartbreak, buying into the Quarter but coming up one spot shy of a Semi Final seat. An unusually poor night by her standards, the only successes being a satellite into Gold Rush, & 8th in Reload.
